I’ve tried many mouthwashes and landed on alcohol free as a better choice for me. However, even other brands with alcohol free mouthwash were literally hurting my mouth and my dentist showed me where they were damaging my gums! She recommended this mouthwash and I will not look back. It has just enough flavor to be enjoyable and taste/smell fresh. It is so gentle and yet keeps my mouth feeling clean all day. In recent years I‘ve been taking medications for auto-immune diseases that have left me with a weakened immune system. I began to occasionally develop painful sores in my mouth. All “healing” products I could find had alcohol and burned. It was miserable. I finally researched products for chemotherapy patients with similar issues and that’s where I found Closys. It is painless and helps my sores heal more quickly. As far as taste, there really is almost none. To me it tastes neither good nor bad, just blah. Considering the pain that flavorings had caused I appreciate that feature. I use it daily after brushing and flossing, and 3 times a day if sores start to develop. It has been a lifesaver for me.

I kept reading that their was a funny after at first. Maybe that was with the original flavor. I got the mint flavor and it tastes great. Very smooth and zero burn. It is pretty expensive but actually cheaper than if you buy it at Walgreens (their prices are almost criminal). I will definitely get this in the future.

I used it after I have cracked tooth accidentally . It helps my pain whenever I rinse with it. Recommend it.

Ive been using this for about 4 yrs now, recommended by my dentist, and its the best mouth wash Ive ever tried. No bite at all! Just a pleasant rinse. Gone are the days where I had to pause and mentally prepare for the battle of holding the mouth wash for the time it said in the bottle / long enough for it to work, against every reaction my body had trying to get me to spit that thing out before my tongue and cheeks melted off my face!

My untreated breath is like a rotting corpse due to tonsil stones (which I manually remove often). When I tried this, I noticed everything tasted awful, but the bottle said that was temporary so I kept using it. In just a few days I noticed my morning furry tongue was greatly reduced, hardly needed scraping. Im starting my 3rd bottle, and havent had to remove stones for a couple of weeks. The taste issue never went away, but Ive gotten used to it. I think the good breath is worth it so Ill keep swishing and gargling twice a day. Youre welcome.

I was told by a dentist that this was the most amazing product to clean your dog with after a skunk attack. Didnt really believe him, but it is amazing!
