Clover 1056/MN Amour Crochet Hook, Size M/N/9.0mm

I purchased all 7 of the larger amour crochet hooks (6.5mm-15mm) and LOVE them. They are great for using with chunky yarn or even helping loosen up a project if you have tight tension. I definitely think they are ergonomic. My hand never tires and I crochet for a few hours every day. I love the hook style as well because yarn glides smoothly on them and never snags.

I love Clover hooks and didnt have this size.. these are the best hooks in my opinion.

Im new to crocheting so please bear that in mind. I tried crochet a couple of years ago but the yarn kept falling off the hook and that was worsted weight yarn. Now I love working with bulky yarns and had tried a couple of hooks with no luck. This one has the hook deep enough for a bulky yarn. I wish it had a bit more grab(less slip in the deep part of the hook)but I think that is my not knowing how to maintain the tension properly. The handle is soft and easy to hold unlike the metal ones that I have. Those will be donated. All in all happy with my purchase.

I have bought that hook based on the commentaries and trust me its worth it. The yarn glides easily, my fingers dont hurt, its very comfortable. I recommend it actually.

Such smooth crocheting with this hook. I got it for making kitchen scrubbies (out of tulle) and it is perfect. It is easy to hold and my hand doesn’t get tired using it. It is well made, too. My black lab pup got a hold of it and it survived intact with only a couple of bite marks on the handle! Love this hook. Most likely will get more in different sizes.
