Clover 1056/MN Amour Crochet Hook, Size M/N/9.0mm

I have been crocheting for years and I have read many times that Clover hooks were rated number one but I never believed they were any better than any other hooks. Now I understnd why! Super smooth throat, ergonomic handle... I ordered a full set of Clover hooks after using this hook.

The feature of using the big sizes from clover is that the hook is not heavy. Usually the bigger the hook the heavier it gets, but with clover hooks that is not applicable. My only wish is that if the grip itself could be little bit slimmer it would be more comfortable. I used size 8 mm with bulky yarn to crochet amigurumi and it was comfortable using the hook. But I also think that stitches longer than sc/dc might not fit easily because the shaft is shorter than other smaller hooks. so I am a bit concerned if it will work perfectly with super bulky yarns or t-shirt yarns. But it is a great buy anyway.

I really like this crochet hook. It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel as clumsy in my hand as the giant plastic hooks of its size. It was also cheaper than I expected!
