It comes with a metal sheath to protect the fine metal hook. I did not realize it when I ordered that this comes from Great Britain. It took around three weeks.

I love the Clover brand crochet hooks! The first hook I got was J and completely fell in love! J is my most used hook, but G is my next so the second I could, I ordered G! The bonus, its my favorite color! I want the rest of them!

The hook it self is fine though I do seem to drop it a lot and it twist in my hands where the flat piece between my fingers flip. The handle is flimsy where I have to be very careful because I have heard it crack.
