I love Susan Bates in-line hooks, they hold but do not split the yarn.

When I received them and they are made of plastic, I was skeptical. However, the plastic glides through the yarn easily and I was impressed!

These are perfect! I like that they are lightweight and dont snag the yarn. The size of them works well too. You dont think of that when looking at hooks, but its a bit smaller and I have small hands. It doesnt get in the way of what Im doing. These are a bit pricy but Ill just get them bit by bit.

Please dont waste your money on this hook. I am very disappointed with it and dont use it as the hook is plastic and drags the wool. Clover crochet hooks are expensive for a reason and the main one for me is that the wool glides over the hook. I needed a size 7 for a project and ended up using a cheap metal one which did the job, but not as good as my small size clover hooks.
