Greater than one weekI needed a 7mm hook. I bought one from a yarn company. It was nice but didnt quite fit right. I read a lot about ergonomic hooks and this one was a top winner. So, I tried it - not sure about the non-metal hook.

> 3 dayI purchased all 7 of the larger amour crochet hooks (6.5mm-15mm) and LOVE them. They are great for using with chunky yarn or even helping loosen up a project if you have tight tension. I definitely think they are ergonomic. My hand never tires and I crochet for a few hours every day. I love the hook style as well because yarn glides smoothly on them and never snags.
