Clover Amour Crochet Hooks - Set of 5 - for Working with Thick Yarns

These are the best crochet hooks on the market PERIOD! Love to work with them. Yarn just glides over so smoothly. Would highly recommend these.

the head and shank are short so not best for thread work; the handle is some form of rubbery plastic; the hook head is very slightly smaller than some other brands and is rounded, not pointy; slides very smoothly and quickly through yarn; comfortable to work for many long hours holding like a pencil; people who hold like a knife (or other) may find the handle too short or not thick enough; good quality, well packaged, and transaction was excellent

I have switched over completely to the Clover Crochet Hooks - these were a great buy for the set.

I love these crochet hooks and was so happy to see the sizes I needed as a set. These are easier on the hands and wrist and are worth it !!

These hooks are wonderful. I was a little skeptical with non-metal but was very pleased with the results Would highly recommend!

Its unfortunate that these are resin hooks, not the specially coated aluminum the smaller sized Clover Amour hooks are. But they work just fine for me. They arent as buttery smooth to work with like the aformentiomed smaller set and are particularly draggy with other artificial fibers such as acrylic. Overall though, these have a great handle and have a great tip. I was having issues finding a hook tip without such a sharpness to the hook end that keeps the yarn in the groove, as it would always catch on the yarn strands just as I was completing a stitch and it would split the stitch, forcing me to have to angle myself weirdly and working super slowly to avoid doing so. It caused a lot of hand and arm strain, so these are perfect in comparison- not at all like that and the dip isnt so shallow the thicker yarn wont slip off. I definitely prefer the slight drag to hand and arm pain.

Im enjoying using these needles, they are comfortable to work with and I like the larger sizes.

These hooks are just Wonderful!!. There is no comparison between them and the hooks I was previously using. Im doing a project that requires inserting the hook into tight spaces and it handles that beautifully!! m I would recommend them to Anyone!!

I like it that they are a shorter length, I dont like the long ones. These are so comfy, my hands never get tired
