Helpful and easy to use

Love this tool. I am an average sewer and it has helped my work to be more accurate. It doesnt slip like some others I bought, so am very pleased with this product.

It is made out of a pressed fiber, at first you may think it flimsy but forget that, it works great! Anyone that hems or turns under fabric needs this little gadget because it saves getting burnt fingers.

Take the guesswork out of making your binding or hemming and lessen the amount of time it takes to make too. If you are a professional or a seasoned seamstress or quilter or a beginner this is a tool that you will definitely use and need. I have kicked myself several times for taking so long to purchase this tool. I know you are trying to qualify the necessity versus the money but this is a must-have notion for anyone who sews. I truly cherish this tool. I have saved so much time and making binding is a breeze. I literally place my item on the ironing board grab this tool and press. Viola on to the sewing machine I go and get it done. Press down the seam and finished! I commonly press a half inch over to attach my binding versus doubling my binding because i want a border binding to the side of my quilts and this tool helps me achieve that so easily. Buy it you need it that simple.

I was sent a different hot press ruler. I would send it back but I don’t want to hassle with that. Works ok, just too much ruler for what I want. I wanted the skinny one as pictured with it wider on one end.
