CLOVER Hot Press Perfect Ruler

This works well for quickly turning up fabric, but not so good for accurate measurements. If I want a 1/2” hem, it won’t be exactly 1/2” because of the height of the product. The hem ends up being a little more than 1/2”, which can make a difference in a garment with, for example, a placket. But despite this little irritant, I’m glad I got it.

I’ve used this mainly for hems. I’ve found it especially useful for small measurements because it helps to be able to iron right over the press piece and not burn your fingers. I like it so well, I only wish I had one years ago. I bought one to gift to someone else who also sews.

I was sent a different hot press ruler. I would send it back but I don’t want to hassle with that. Works ok, just too much ruler for what I want. I wanted the skinny one as pictured with it wider on one end.

I’ve only used it a few times I love it. It grips the fabric enough to keep it from slipping. Works great!

This really gives a crisp edge to anything you ironed. You might want to use it with those silicon finger protectors so you dont burn yourself
