There were parts missing so I couldnt install this and gave it to the neighbor kids to play with as a toy.

I received this radio yesterday. I know what is supposed to be with it as I read it thoroughly. It came in a plastic bag wrapped up. There was a cigarette lighter adapter still attached to the power cable duct taped together. Looks like it was either used or a prior return. I ordered new so i expected that. Submitted for replacement this morning, will update should this go smooth

This is a very small CB solution that works quite well. Its just best when you already have an antenna (or adapter if you plan to plug it into your 12v). We had neither, but we went into it knowing this (and knowing it didnt come with these items). It doesnt use the normal adapter for power though. We wound up buying the RoadPro RPPS-220 Platinum Series 12V 3-Pin Plug Fused Replacement CB Power Cord and simply lopped off the connector and spliced the wires together using wire connectors. It works perfectly fine using that 12v adapter and should work just as well with similar options. We have used a few different antennas but didnt quite have the right ones in our arsenal of accessories. We also knew this going into it, so we ordered coax to UHF adapters so we could use the ones we had with it. It does work, although we dont have any advice for getting it just right since we cant modify those antennas. We will have to come back at a later time when we have one we can properly match to the radio for the best performance. **If you have found our review helpful, please vote it as helpful below so we know. Nice little radio. Problem is that hardly anyone is on the CB radio anymore. I drove for two hours on the interstate and no truckers were heard. Such a shame that those days are gone.

t’s small, but powerful enough to not notice! Setup and installation were a breeze. The function to change the channel or adjust the volume is smooth. I personally move it around from vehicle to vehicle, is it’s very easy to deploy and takedown. Overall, I do recommend it!

Ive got several BIG Cobra radios sitting on the shelf that used to live in my big SUVs... but I miss the access to information on road trips that CB provides when driving my car. This is the perfect solution. Its tiny and when its time to road trip- I simply stick it in the little ash tray area in my car and slap a magnetic mount antenna on the trunk lid. I had to add a cig lighter plug to it- and I really think Cobra missed the chance to make this perfect by not including one. Sure, its best to hard-wire, but many people will be buying this for portability as well. It works well, simple controls and a good price. Too bad all those big chrome Cobra radios with dozens of features are retired now- but small and simple wins in this case, without giving up any range.

It was nice to open up the box and see this compact CB-- my first impression was -- Its a Cobra-- the top name in CBs back in the old days. I really liked the compact size-- it was easy to find a place to mount it and-- it wasnt so large that you could see it from outside the car. My old CB (in my other car, a 1973 Chevy) and I traveled through day and night - finding like-minded users thru the airwaves on empty highways and was a great 2 am listen-to when I was camping in my car -- the chatter at all hours of the day and night was a wonderful companion. Using this Cobra brought back these great memories from 40 years ago....but... the good old days of CB usage are gone-- I found very few other users in my area. This model is sparse-- fewer buttons, more advanced but it felt a little less user-friendly in that I had more bells and whistles on my old CB. However, Cobra has made yet another good product, in keeping with its good name, the price is ok -- and Im glad this maker is continuing the legend.

The 19 MINI is Cobra"s smallest CB radio! Get clear communication anywhere you need it with this ultra compact CB radio. Perfect for RVs, work trucks, delivery vans or wherever you need the full features of CB in a compact size.
