07-06-2025I love the concept of this floss, and it does get out food particles. However, its really important to be gentle with this floss, and please check with your dentist if you have problem gums. Its pretty abrasive - It tore open the corner of my lips when it misangled it a bit. Also caused one of my problem gums to bleed.

Greater than one weekThis floss is worth the money. I feel it really cleans in between my teeth without the silicone.

> 3 dayWhat can I say? This floss is the best one out there and it works better than any other top brand. The threads grab more than any others out there. The price, however, does not impress me. $10 plus tax is a bit hefty. CocoFloss would have more customers if they came down on their prices.

> 3 dayI normally floss with unwaxed floss, because I can really scrape my teeth. However, I have a couple of areas where my teeth are very tight, and my floss often gets shredded. That then forces me to use waxed floss (I use Glide). I wanted to try out Cocofloss. It works really well in scraping the sides of my teeth, as well as the unwaxed floss. Now the real test comes with my teeth that are tight. The first time I used Cocofloss between the tight teeth…it got shredded. After a second try, with a slightly different technique, the Cocofloss did not shred. However, it got close to shredding, but didn’t. The picture shows unused Cocofloss on top, and a used piece that went between my very tight teeth. As you can see, it didn’t get shredded (my third try was even better). The scent is very slight…can hardly tell it’s coconut. Cocofloss is pricey, and I’m not sure if I want to continue with it after I finish my supply. The reason…the unwaxed floss works equally as well, except that I have to use waxed floss when flossing between my very tight teeth. We’ll see…

> 3 dayThis thin floss worked fine, but the coating causes the floss to expand in the case, rendering it uncloseable. I used them but went back to Glide.

> 3 dayI really love the texture and flavor but they are a little too thick to get in between my teeth easily.

> 3 dayFor a long time this has been pretty much the only successor to Listerine Gentle Gum Care. The main issue is pricing. 1) The rolls are ALREADY smaller at 32yd vs the 50 yd you normally get for floss. 2) you have to use more because the floss, while it cleans better than all other commercial flosses, gets extremely slippery and shreds easily, so you have to keep rolling it forward to have a fresh section for each tooth. Each roll lasts 4-5 days, not 30 days as they claim. 2) Shrinkflation: It was already premium priced, and now the 4-pack price is the 3-pack price. 3) Reduced thread count. It’s now much thinner than it was a couple of years ago. It has gone from great, to OK, and from OK to not justifiable. Switching as soon as I can find an alternative. Highly recommended if you can afford about 75 dollars a month for dental floss per person. I am sure that an ethical investigation of the creation of this product, and the demise of Reach Gentle Gum Care, will uncover a lot of corporate malfeasance, fraud, and criminal action. Update: unsuprisingly my latest order was delayed without explanation. Curious timing given negative implications of review.
