Colgate Total Plaque Pro Release Whitening Toothpaste, 1 Pack, 3.0 Oz Tube

Best toothpaste I ever used. Helps fight off Plaque better than the rest. Fresh breath for 24 hours, teeth feel clean like the dental tech cleaned them all deep like. For real. My teeth feel like I just got done at the dentist. I use electric toothbrush for 2 minutes or so on my chompers and they feel super clean. Brush those gums and tongue real good too! Toothpaste has a nice flavor it dont have any stinging bite at the end like some toothpaste have. Foams up pretty decent to. My teeth felt clean and breath was right a good 16 hours after I brushed. It gets on that gum line and eats that plaque right off. Impressed. I only been brushing with this product for a few days! Only time will tell, but so far its looking promising. I got the mint flavor I didnt go with the whitening one. In my experience the non whitening toothpaste generally taste better.

Packaging is a little questionable. I had to have help to get the little foil seal off of the toothpaste hole. Not exactly frustration free for old folks. In retrospect I could have just shoved a pencil point down into the tip.

The active ingredient is only fluoride. It foams a little like hydrogen peroxide found in whitening toothpaste. And supposedly it can help sensitive teeth - but I think this is just regular toothpaste - I doubt it works against plaque any better than any other fluoride toothpaste with hydrogen peroxide. The problem is it’s in a really small tube so the value just isn’t there. I will say it’s nice and minty though - which I like. But I wouldn’t buy again. I’ll stick with the mouthwash that has an active ingredient specifically for plaque and tartar.

I typically use Colgate products on my teeth and consider them a brand I can trust. The Colgate Total Plaque Pro Release seems to be another great offering from them! The flavor is a nice, strong mint and the freshness feeling it produces after brushing lasts for a long after you brush. It says it offers 24 hours of antibacterial protection - which I really have no way of proving whether it does or not, but its a great bonus and will go a long way for helping fight bad breath if its killing all the bacteria that helps create it for that long. At $9 for a 3oz bottle, I think it is on the pricey side but they offer it in a whitening version too so that is the one I would go for next. With the combination of the two I could definitely justify spending a little extra to keep my teeth whitened and my gums healthy and plaque free. I do like this toothpaste and the feeling it leaves in my mouth. Its a very nice toothpaste and its a pretty cool looking tube too.

My teeth feel very clean after using this one. I have sensitive teeth issues and this toothpaste didnt seem to bother them or create additional sensitivity. NIce minty taste.

One thing I can say that is very positive about this toothpaste is that it really cleans. Actually feels like the foam continues to clean after you have stopped brushing. What I do not like about this toothpaste is that it is really harsh. If you have sensitive teeth and gums, this may not be a good choice for you. Normally stannous fluoride helps with sensitivity. Could be that this is coupled with harsh detergents. I am not sure. I really wish that national brands would market toothpaste without SLS and such strong mint flavor. Of course, I could buy a natural brand of toothpaste, but they often do not provide fluoride. I wish there was more middle ground.

Keeps my teeth very clean and fresh, better than other products. Great buy.
