> 24 hourI purchased these about six months ago, and have been meaning to write a review. Let me start by first saying, I do generally like Command adhesive products, and have generally had great success using these products (in my office at work, and in a rented apartment), but this is the worst of many packages of Command products I have purchased. First, these did not come in the 3M Command packaging - these came in a clear plastic bag, like how you get the screws and bolts for DIY furniture. I was like, okay, Ive gotten other products off Amazon that didnt have the original packaging, assuming because of damage in the warehouse or something, and they worked perfectly fine. So, I kept these. BIG MISTAKE. These were the worst Command items to work with. First, is just about impossible to get the backing off these strips - Im talking, if you are lucky enough to get a 2mm edge free with your fingernails, you need to bite with your front teeth and try to pull the rest off. Secondly, similar to what other reviewers have stated, even if you do get the backing off (sometimes a fine layer of paper remains) , the adhesive mostly peels off, then snaps back in a messy blob...its kind like that goopy adhesive on the back of new credit cards, but way thinner, stickier, and impossible to straighten out and attempt to use. Finally, I did manage to get some usable strips out of my pack (of 16 sets, I believe) and at home hung a 10x12 frame - not heavy - to have it fall after a few weeks. And because maybe Im a moron, Ive used strips from the same package and rehung the picture only to have it eventually fall two more times. Just yesterday it fell again and the frame finally broke, which prompted me to write this review. At work, I hung a much larger, heavier dry erase calendar and it fell twice as well. I finally ended up using clear pushpins all around the bottom corners to keep it in place. The person who moves into my office after me is going to think Im nuts. Please note, despite all the negativity, I have purchased the same item on Amazon in the past and those hanging strips worked great - I would just be careful purchasing from this particular item option because Im suspicious that this is a fake 3M product, or if it is, it may be a defective batch that someone chose to sell anyway. Its not like im out a ton of money, its just disappointing.

> 24 hourI try to minimize nail holes in my walls, and these are just what I needed. I used them for some flat picture frames that lie flush to the wall. They wouldn’t work as well for frames or other items that weren’t meant to be flush with a surface.

> 24 hourThis product came loose in the package, there were some directions but nothing specific as to size or type of use with it. Usually command strips come in a sealed clear plastic attached to a card that gives a description of the product and uses. Not here

> 24 hourI use these removable click together strips to hang all sorts of small items onto painted walls, mirrors and other surfaces . They seem to hold very securely and it is easy to remove the items to change batteries etc. I dont plan on using these to hang picture frames....because once the frame is removed it can be too difficult to put the frame back to the same exact spot. This particular model PH204-16NA comes annoyingly shipped loose in an envelope, not a very convenient way to store it.
