I use these to level the granite in my outdoor kitchen. They wont break as easily as you might think, but they do get the job done and can be cut and snapped with a knife, or, if you have the space, cut flat with a grinder. This product meets my needs perfectly. I like them from thin to thick so they can be cut to the length and height you want.

These composite shims are of good quality. I like these much better than the wood shims they dont split and are waterproof. Just finished using several them to level a large concrete bird bath.

I find uses for shims all over our place so I like to have a bunch around. Not only are they useful for leveling appliances or window and door frames, they work great for leveling pieces of wood out in the shop when resawing or surfacing. I also used them for initial leveling of pool table slates (then finish with playing cards). Easy to break or cut.

Im not using them for tables. I used them to level redwood planks and stones for a raised bed. They worked great, were easy to cut and stayed put. No deformation is apparent after several days. These have a variety of uses and are a good price.

Any place that calls for just a smidge of leveling or nudging into alignment is a place for a shim. These are more weather resistant than wood, even treated wood, so they are virtually indestructible. Ive used them for aligning and leveling door and window installation when the building youre retrofitting stuff on isnt quite square. They work for laying out walkways and decks, levelling shelves and appliances...oh, so many things! You get 40 shims in this package, so that should go a long way, since they can be snapped off to just the length you need. This is a good buy.

Always looking for shims and I usually use wood, I thought I’d like some variety in my shop and I do. I like these for the most part, but I’ll mark them down a point because they’re not actually easy to snap, as advertised. I had to bend them 10-15 times until I could finally break it, but at least it broke cleanly, so I don’t have a significant regret. Good and easy to use in all other senses!

These composite shims are some of the handiest things for remodeling that Ive come across. Were always working on something around this old house, and it seems like nothing is ever level. So, shims are pretty much a necessity. These are great and they hold so much more weight than the softer wooden shims. These are scored so they can easily be cut to size, and I dont worry about them degrading due to weather. As far as Im concerned, these are the only shims well be using from now on. The price is reasonable and the quality is good, making these a good value for the money.

These are just like any other composite shim at initial inspection. I have no doubts that they will work the same too. No complaints here.

If youve used wooden (or similar plastic) shims, you should have a good idea of what they are and what they will do. These are comparable to any other plastic shims I have used in years of construction. I think that you can be confident with these.

These will come in handy when I install our doors in our house. Ive seen these at Lowes before and decided to get them here. They look identical to the one at local store so they should work well.
