I saw these concrete bases at our favorite winery and decided I had to have them. Checked out the Flickr website and was supremely surprised to see they were $120! A quick Amazon search and we are please with this $40 knock off. Burns clean with high level of alcohol and it’s safe to cook marshmallows and hot dogs on.

no set up. does what it says. cheap to use. puts out a good bit of heat. smokeless. odorless. produces a really nice flame. great for meditation where you focus on the flame

I was skeptical at first, but extremely satisfied! The flames on this little fire pit are amazing. Such a wonderful option for someone with limited space. I used on a balcony patio.

decent little desktop fire doohickey

I gave this as a birthday gift. The flame is quiet high even after using a small amount of bioethanol. The risk of a child or any adult bumping the table or touching the container and burning themselves is dangerous. Not suitable for indoors!

The sale price convinced me to give one of these a go. Id say its worth the sale price but not the regular full price. I used 91% isopropyl alcohol, as that is what I had on hand, and it works well. Only oddity is the finish. Initially, and mostly, it is grey mottled with black as in the advertised pictures but sometimes its more grey or almost completely black. Not sure what triggers this and it is not the heat from using it. In any event, its a nice addition to the patio and Im considering another one...once theyre at the sale price again.
