Overall, I am really grateful for getting this adapter. This works 100% and turned on my Wii U after not playing on it for multiple years.

Keep in mind that the original power cord wasnt the thickest so this is pretty much an exact replacement worked fine would recommend not to pinch or have it kinked up so it can last before needing another replacement thats the reason for not giving it 5 stars

Works, but the block feels practically empty instead of heavily weighted like the original. Im guessing its built poorly. The outlet prongs also dont have the slightly larger side incorporated so it doesnt stay in the outlet as well as the original. I unplug it when not in use because I dont trust it.

I was really missing wii fit and decided to get the wii U out of storage. Was really sad after buying a new cable for the game pad to find out the console wouldnt even turn on. Did some searching and found out the adapter might be the problem. I didnt want to spend too much in case it was the console. Ordered this and it just arrived and it works! Super happy considering the price of old wii Us right now.
