Console Charger for Wii U, AC Adapter Power Supply Replacement for Nintendo WiiU Console (Not Compatible with Nintendo Wii)

Upon plugging the outlet into the Wii U the first time and then into the wall and then turning on the Wii U, the lights on the Wii U started flickering, I heard crackling come from the Wii U and from the power supplys plug into my wall outlet, and after a few seconds everything turned off. It wont start now, Im assuming that either the power supply stopped working immediately or that it shorted out my whole Wii U. I guess well see. What a pain.

I could tell by the weight of the box portion of the adapter that it was going to be a piece of junk. Theres definitely parts missing (or at least the parts are shoddily made) and its 100% defective. Why is this labeled as Amazons Choice.

Extremely flimsy, worked for 2 weeks then my dog lightly bumped it and a piece broke off in the box somehow. Seems low quality and not solid. Very disappointed.

I bought this to power up my Wii U. I was skeptical after reading all the mixed reviews. Fortunately, for me the power cord works. It powered up my Wii U right away. So far I have had it for about a week

No, its not an official Nintendo brand power adapter; Yes, its a generic no name brand; yes, the transformer box portion feels really light & cheap (this is hardly ever handled so theres no big issue) ; and most importantly - yes, it works just the same as the Nintendo branded power adapter for a much lower cost. I got a Wii U second hand with no cables at all, this cable powers the console with no issues.

Lo compre y luego tuve que comprar uno original ya que se calentaba mucho y mi wiiu se calento y no encendia, luego con el original funcionaba mejor, es liviano como dicen pero no se si es porque le faltan componentes
