Greater than one weekWorks great with my carbon wheelset. Especially a good decision if you have a set of tubulars that dont have exchangeable stems.

> 3 dayI expected them to fit a standard valve stem, but they are some strange small extenders. Length was fine, but I have standard valve stems. Not worth returning them.T

> 3 dayOriginally, I just tried screwing one of these puppies over the presta valve of a tire on an aero wheel, but that didnt work well at all. Prepared to award this seemingly miserable product a single star and a nasty review, I happened to glance at the DIRECTIONS, and realized the valve was to be disassembled BEFORE attaching the extender, and that the black plastic piece in the packaging was a wrench intended to accomplish this very purpose, and not, as I initially perceived, a roach clip misplaced by a Continental or Amazon employee. This is a great product that works wonderfully, even if the wrench looks like a piece of drug paraphernalia.

> 3 dayI installed these because I have 88mm deep carbon fiber wheels. There is absolutely no air leak, just make sure you use teflon sealer tape. I have used 60mm length version with 80mm valve inner tube but I could use the size smaller I guess (40mm) , but it is ok.

> 3 daySpendy, and I wish they came in black, but crucially, these worked, whereas the cheaper no-name brand did not.

> 3 dayJust what I wanted. Needed 48mm removable valve core tubes to clear my 88mm Carbon wheelset. Done forget to use Teflon tape for added piece of mind.

> 3 dayThese are the valve extenders to get. Works perfectly, and light weight as well.

Greater than one weekConti quality. Unlike other reviewers, I did not have any issues with getting them securely attached and with no leaking. Another brand required pipe dope to keep from leaking, these did not. I use them with Conti tubes, so maybe that’s the reason they work well. They do the job they were designed to do.

> 3 dayThey leak. Oh my, now I have a problem. Used them with new Veloflex Roubaix. Sure, everything fit. I even used plumbers tape around the threads for a better seal. But they leak a lot of air. And this is a real pain in the butt because now my tubulars are held down with glue tape. Ill be out $50 if I need to entirely remove the extender and replace with a new one.

> 3 dayIf you need valve extenders, these are the ones to get. Note that they do require removing the valve core, so be sure that your tires/tubes are compatible.
