I really needed hot steam so I had to make another purchase. Cool mist just was not doing the trick for me.

Very easy to use. Puts out a lot of mist easy to control the level you want. Just got it so dont know about cleaning it yet. I like the size of it. It is great for a small bedroom or office. Also is very quiet.

Anyone have any help with this unit Gurgling & knocking sounds every 15 mins or so! It originally did not do that but two weeks into using it it started.

This is a good little humidifier for a bedroom or small room. I use reverse osmosis water and it runs for about 6-7 hours on full power. No complaints and it’s easy to fill. Wipe out the base weekly where the water sits and rinse out the water tank weekly. No mold anywhere! Been working well over 3 weeks now.

I have loved this. Bought this one for my daughter who has allergies and it’s made a huge difference. Actually buying more to put through out my house.

In my opinion, this humidifier is helpful and convenient to carry around the room. It also keeps my room cool. So far. I dont see any issue with this product. At night, it does not make a noisy sound which is a good thing for me because I am a light sleeper. If I hear a noise, I usually have a difficult time to sleep. I will wait for a few months to check the quality of the product.

TL;DR - Cleaning and using is okay, but it is actually rather noisy. This was definitely easy to use and clean but it was far from quiet. I purchased this recently for my cat who was breathing heavy. This scared her, though, so it eventually wasn’t used and was put away. It makes the “glug glug” sound water containers usually do and that was what freaking her out for the most part. Aside from that, it was a light, constant buzzing sound (I don’t know how to best describe it. Like a fan almost?). After several very difficult vet visits, we unfortunately lost our baby girl. I am returned the product as neither my husband nor I am desired to have it.

Its cleaning instructions are so so simple and is included in the packaging. No scrubbing involved because it just asks for white vinegar and warm water. The design is super pretty and feels luxurious next to my plants. I honestly feel like Im walking into a spa. I live in a dry area and have dehydrated and dry skin. So, this has been a life saver for sure. Hydrated plants + hydrated skin = win No mechanical sounds. Just occasional gurgles and and almost undetectable sound of the mist. If you keep up with simple maintenance instructions, they claims it can last about 10 years if taken care of. The more hard water buildup, the more it will make sound. So, cleaning is important. Daily morning routine: Unplug, take lid off, and remove extra water from base and container (I just pour into my plant), leave lid off to dry when not in use. Weekly cleaning: fill up the container with a couple of tablespoons of vinegar and the rest warm water. Shake vigorously and let stand for about 30 minutes. For the base, add a tablespoon of vinegar and fill the rest with water. Let stand for about 30 min. Rinse both with water and done! (I live in an area where there is more water buildup, but I imagine you wouldnt have to clean it as often if your water is more pure). Night routine: Fill the container up with water and turn it on. I really appreciate that you can adjust the flow.

Love this besides my bed. It does have a small motor sound, but nothing that would bother me as we sleep with a fan on as well. I run it on low-medium and fill it about once every 24-36 hours.

What would happen if I add essential oils to this humidifier?

Essential oils will corrode the humidifier, causing the water tank or base to crack.

Could I put the humidifier on the floor or a wooden table?

Yes, but it isn’t the smartest move: 1. Best place to put a humidifier is where the most airflow is. 2. Potential of wetting the surroundings due to locally high humidity levels, it is recommended to put a tray underneath it.

Is the bubbling/knocking sound it makes while running normally?

It is normal for the humidifier to have bubbling sounds sometimes. It is the sound of water moving from the water tank to the base. Other times it is quiet and does not affect its performance.

Can I use tap water or is distilled water preferred?

It depends on where you live. In some areas, water is richer in minerals. The humidifier won’t instantly go haywire if you do use tap water, but in the long term will cause scale and you need to maintain it more often. Distilled water is recommended.

How to clean the mist tube and the top part?

There is a cleaning brush in the box. You can use it to clean these parts.
