> 3 dayI have enjoyed this humidifier for my houseplants. I have one in my bedroom (15 plants in there), and the other in my living room (10 plants there). My daughter liked it so much, I bought one for her for her birthday. They all work great. However, now on my oldest one, Im beginning to see a dark film inside tank where I open it to fill it. The hole is too small for me to reach inside and clean it off, so I have just now contacted the seller and awaiting a reply as to how to clean it. Other than that, I have been totally happy with this product. ***update: I contacted the seller for the Ray drop. Cool mist humidifier. They apologized for any inconvenience, but told me exactly how to clean the inside of the humidifiers out. I was impressed with their very quick response, and I cleaned out my humidifiers, and I am very, very happy.

> 3 dayOnly complaint is that the water level window is way too narrow and dark. Can’t see how much water left no matter how strong the light is. Like how powerful this little machine is. The occasional gurgling sound doesn’t bother me.

15-06-2025TL;DR - Cleaning and using is okay, but it is actually rather noisy. This was definitely easy to use and clean but it was far from quiet. I purchased this recently for my cat who was breathing heavy. This scared her, though, so it eventually wasn’t used and was put away. It makes the “glug glug” sound water containers usually do and that was what freaking her out for the most part. Aside from that, it was a light, constant buzzing sound (I don’t know how to best describe it. Like a fan almost?). After several very difficult vet visits, we unfortunately lost our baby girl. I am returned the product as neither my husband nor I am desired to have it.

> 3 dayI started using this at night as the weather got colder and I have noticed a significant decrease in my eczema! Downsides, definitely gurgles and knocks periodically as water moves through. Also I am noticing pink mold beginning and I’ve cleaned it in places I can reach however I am concerned for the spots that are inaccessible. Overall happy with it!

> 3 day1/2 gallon in this humidifier going at full tilt usually lasts me about 6.5 hours. I’ve only used it at full blast. Obviously it’ll last longer at a lower setting. So, 6.5 hours is the time that I plan on it lasting per fill for now. I’m using this in a 36” wide x 18” deep x 60” tall space and it’ll easily raise the humidity to the 62% I’m looking for fairly quickly and I can maintain that 62% with some monitoring, but it won’t raise the % in that volume of space to much more than 70%. I haven’t had to clean this yet. I’ve used only distilled water and I’ve probably run 10 gallons thru it so far and it’s spotless. It comes with a pretty swell little brush to clean the hard to get to spots, that was nice of them. It’s quick & easy to fill and easy to operate. It switches itself off when the tank is empty and there’s no danger with leaving the empty unit powered on if you’re busy or asleep. Just fill it back up, rotate the clicker to off, then back on and adjust it to your liking and off ya go. There’s a good level of adjustments and overall this humidifier does a great job.

Greater than one weekThe box arrived dented but the humidifier itself works fine and doesnt seem to be damaged anywhere. The steam came out within seconds and its completely silent. I specifically wanted one without those annoying lights that might stop me from sleeping well and this one just has a small green light so its not bothersome.

Greater than one weekIts cleaning instructions are so so simple and is included in the packaging. No scrubbing involved because it just asks for white vinegar and warm water. The design is super pretty and feels luxurious next to my plants. I honestly feel like Im walking into a spa. I live in a dry area and have dehydrated and dry skin. So, this has been a life saver for sure. Hydrated plants + hydrated skin = win No mechanical sounds. Just occasional gurgles and and almost undetectable sound of the mist. If you keep up with simple maintenance instructions, they claims it can last about 10 years if taken care of. The more hard water buildup, the more it will make sound. So, cleaning is important. Daily morning routine: Unplug, take lid off, and remove extra water from base and container (I just pour into my plant), leave lid off to dry when not in use. Weekly cleaning: fill up the container with a couple of tablespoons of vinegar and the rest warm water. Shake vigorously and let stand for about 30 minutes. For the base, add a tablespoon of vinegar and fill the rest with water. Let stand for about 30 min. Rinse both with water and done! (I live in an area where there is more water buildup, but I imagine you wouldnt have to clean it as often if your water is more pure). Night routine: Fill the container up with water and turn it on. I really appreciate that you can adjust the flow.

> 3 dayWe needed a humidifier due to the dry climate. It was a small room, so we thought this would work. It ran efficiently and quietly but also ran our of water quickly. This is due to the very small reservoir even at the smallest output settings. We purchased a 2 gallon unit from Costco that was just as quiet and efficient but only needed refilling after 24hrs. We kept this for an as needed situation.
