> 24 hourA little pricy for a single screen external monitor but totally worth my investment. Made of light weight material, comes with a free protection pad, and could also be used as a mouse pad. Totally love this product.

> 24 hourIt’s great option for individuals who need an extra screen to work on when using a MacBook. The monitor is lightweight and portable, which makes it easy to take with you wherever you go. I perfer one extra scrren just for my own preference. Fit me MacBook 13, which is good enough to allow for easy multitasking, but small enough to fit comfortably in a backpack or laptop bag. Very slim and lightweight.

> 24 hourThis Mackboon external monitor is fantastic. It features a 1080P screen resolution, which provides a bright, smooth, and consistent visual quality. This portable monitor is primarily designed for MacBook and fits well into it. This portable display is composed of high-quality materials, has a slim and fashionable appearance, securely attaches to a MacBook, and performs above expectations. The kit includes all necessary tools, such as a type C cable, adhesive, a screen protector, and others. This monitor is very quick and works well. Overall, the design, display quality, functional ability, and durability are excellent, and the device appears to be well-branded. Only I fill it, and its weight is a little heavier than I expected. However, it is a good product that is well worth purchasing.

> 24 hourLoving my MAC portable laptop screen! I’ve been wanting a portable extra screen for some time now, to make work easier from the road, so jumped at the chance to try this one out! The instructions were not super clear, but I figured it out - mostly intuitive to attach. And so far it hasn’t come apart so I must have done it right! The clear sticky circles look like there are two stuck together and you might need to separate them. You don’t. I burned one of the circles trying. Which is ok because they give you plenty so you can remove and reattach the portable screen without needing to buy more. I’m not planning to remove mine, but I will say it adds some weight to the laptop. The other element in the instructions that wasn’t clear was which side of the black circle ‘covers’ goes up. Those metallic circle are what actually keeps the laptop extended screen attached. The screen attaches easily overall, and is literally just plug and play! The USB-C cord that powers the screen fits inside a track under the screen to keep it out of the way when not in use. There is a magnetic screen protector that keeps the screen safe when not in use, and it seems to stay attached well! There is also what I think is intended to be a mousepad type leather cover, which must also be metal because it too sticks to the screen and helps keep it protected. Super excited to travel this week using the screen, and will update if any issues arise, but can’t imagine any concerns as of now!

> 24 hourOverall, I like the product. However, there are a few things to point out about this product. There are lighter portable monitors out there. 4.8 pounds isnt exactly light for a portable monitor when I have one that weighs less than a 1pd and its a full 1080. The included frame that the monitor is mounted on allows one to set the monitor to be self-standing vertically if one so chooses. I mounted the bracket to the back of my Macbook per instructions and the sticky mounts kept coming off. Also, you can only mount the bracket to swing the monitor out to the right side, due to the shortness of the USB C cable). While sitting in a Les Schwab waiting for my vehicle to get done, I kept hearing plink as the trim pieces would lose their stickiness the sticky pads that you use to hold the trim pieces that hold the monitor bracket on the back of your screen. I have read a lot of good positive reviews from others about this product so it may be something I am doing wrong. Another note is I had to make some screen adjustments to get my colors to match my monitor, but that is a minor footnote. The monitor works well overall and it is a nice extension, except for the weight and the unfortunate happenstance of it not adhering well to the back of my Macbook Pro. After two days of trying to get the thing to stay, I have resorted to using another product in order to adhere the monitor bracket to the back of my screen. Overall, it is a good quality built product, just a tad on the heavy side in my opinion.

> 24 hourThe biggest single point of failure on a laptop it is the hinges. I am concerned that this 5 pound monstrosity is going to put undue stress on those hinges and I’m gonna pay for it very heavily in the long run. I don’t know for sure but I do know that I have a handful of portable monitors that way under a pound, none of them are that fantastic and none of them connect to the laptop lid directly. I certainly love the idea and the convenience but I think the implementation here is just a little bit clunky. The monitor itself is smaller than your usual portable monitor and it doesn’t have near the resolution of the native MacBook screen nor the clarity so are you if you’re a person that needs everything to match this is not going to be the unit for you. That being said I got a decent usable picture out of it and I cannot say that for every portable monitor I’ve tried. Your mileage may vary but you’re going to have a larger set of icons off to the right. And you can only use this on the right side. This is not ambidextrous flip out. So that’s another thing to consider. Do you have the option to leave this permanently attached to your MacBook but you’re going to more than double the thickness so it’s another thing to think about. And the wait. I’m still trying to figure out why this thing is as heavy as it is. I still really love the idea and I think going forward future iterations of this product may get streamlined. And it does have a decent build quality to it. But if this thing ends up damaging the lid of my MacBook I’m going to come back here and give it a single star. I still have to check with the Apple people and make sure that this doesn’t somehow void the warranty by putting undue stress on the cover.

> 24 hourThis portable Monitor is designed to enhance my productivity and make my work easier. It’s an excellent choice for anyone who needs a portable, high-quality monitor that can be used with a MacBook. Fit my MacBook very well, takes me less than 5 minutes to get everything runs correctly.

> 24 hourIt fits nicely and helps out when I need a second monitor. It does add some weight to the laptop but its expected when adding another screen. The resolution is 1080 but at that resolution then the text is microscopic so the recommended is some other screen size that I didnt like. Its ok on brightness but nothing to write home about. I do like how it can stand up vertical if taken off the back of the laptop which is pretty cool. It comes with a metal screen protector and a nice fabric type one. Both have magnets and stick magnetically. Its pretty good if you need a second screen and dont want to carry two separate things.
