It came on time and the color is a bit brighter than I expected. So Copics are awesome.

Whats not to love about copics!??! I tried all different brands, including cheap sets and no-name copycats. Copics have out performed them all! I find the colors I like and use the most from the copic color chart and then make sure I have the 3 markers for that color group (light, medium,dark) for shading. It really does make a huge difference making sure to have all 3 colors/markers to complete a color. I use this particular color a lot for coloring on my cards and the stamps I use on my cards. I needed to buy this marker again because I broke my cap which allowed my marker to dry up... so I HAD to replace it. Refilling doesnt work on markers that have cracked caps or barrels. I highly recommend Copics and this particular color.

I like the chisel tip on this for completely removing color if you go outside the lines but the brush tip is so wet, you have to use it extremely sparingly if you want to use it for selectively removing a light amount of color. The term blender that the Copic people use for this pen is a little misleading, this pen is not what you want to use to blend colors, think of it as a color remover. Ive read that you can use this as a blending tool for colored pencils (just keep one dedicated for that purpose) so thought Id pick up an extra one for that to give it a try.

i love copic markers. i own about 60-70 now and the possibilities are endless. i love paper crafting and drawing and these offer great oppertunities to shade/blend colors in a seamlessly easy way. sometimes they can be bought a little cheaper on other sites so shop around. also be sure to store them flat not upright as the ink stays more uniform that way and keeps both nibs moist.

Perfect gift for my sons birthday. I bought a whole bunch of them from Amazon and the colors are amazing. He sketches WWII army and navy planes and wanted these color markers specifically because the shades are so realistic.

Gotta get those mistakes.
