> 3 dayMy daughter had been asking for Copic markers forever and especially these shading ones....so I decided to spring for the 6 piece set. They did take a couple of weeks to get here but were well worth it. The level of happiness from my daughter spoke volumes...she is exceptionally happy with them, they do what she wanted them to do and what was advertised and they are very high quality. They were worth the wait.

> 3 dayThis is my first set of Copic markers , though I have bought some individual ones in the really pale colors before. I especially wanted colors that would look good for skin tones in my art work. These markers, though pricey, are great for that purpose and are actually a good investment. (IMHO). I wish I had invested in these years ago. I have a large collection of Tombow and Stampin Up markers, but they are all water based and react quite differently than these alcohol based markers. I have now ordered the 25 year anniversary set of 36 Copic markers which have received good reviews on Amazon. I am looking forward to using that set and I assume I will be adding more markers to my collection in the future, probably the greys, earth colors and perhaps sea and sky.

> 3 dayThese are the real deal. If you want quality and performance from your markers, look no further. Yes, they are an expensive initial investment however, they are also made to last a lifetime with refillable ink and replacement nibs. That’s important to consider. If you are going to spend time creating your artwork, it only makes sense to use to the best quality markers. Copics are the industry standard.

Greater than one weekThese markers are AMAZING. I love the brush tips. I personally think they are better than Ohuhu’s, but are too pricey. I was just really disappointed that 2 of the markers were the wrong color. I received E000 instead of E13 and E93 rather than R20. I’m still upset but the markers are really great, just wish they sent the right products.

> 3 dayCopic markers are amazing. They blend so much better, have better tips, have replaceable tips, and are refillable. The Sketch markers are better than the other three lines because they store more ink than the Ciao, have the brush tip the Classics dont, have an oval shape that cuts down on hand cramps, and have the color code on the lids (you would not believe how useful this is). If youre considering Sketch or Ciao, I highly recommend Sketch. This skin tone set is very good to have. Having varied tones in your images makes it more interesting and inclusive. If you draw in a more realistic manner, youll need the contrast that you can get from this kit. I also use the makers from this set in pretty much any drawing where I need brown shades. I get a whole lot of use out of this and I know you will too!

> 3 dayHonestly, I have never used Copic Markers before but the texture and color it has on paper is extremely smooth. It is dual-tipped, dries quickly and has an accurate and great color but unfortunately bleeds through the paper (at least the one I used which was supposed to be bleed-proof paper). The product was shipped on time (brand new and in the original packaging) and I was very happy when I used them for the first time since the Copic Markers had great reviews and was highly recommended. I attached a picture of the picture I drew and colored with E00 (Skin White). cookie-hakase is my DeviantArt username.

> 3 dayBeing a newcomer to Copic markers, I wasnt entirely sure what to expect. Many artists I admire use Copics for coloring their drawings, so I decided to give them a shot. Needless to say, they fulfilled and even surpassed my expectations! Copic markers are often criticized for their high price tags, retailing from around five to eight USD, but upon receiving them, I understood why they retail at this price. They are incredibly high-quality markers, and some of the best for blending. Since Copics are alcohol-based, you are able to use them to layer your coloring more without worrying about tearing the paper. Personally, I much prefer the look of alcohol-based markers over other markers such as dye or water-based markers. The colors appear vibrant and beautiful on the page and compliment any drawing wonderfully. Copics, when used properly, should last you a fairly long time. Once the ink has run out, Copic offers replacement ink refillers which is a great alternative to being forced to buy many new markers. I have not yet had to refill my markers so I cant say how well this works from personal experience, but Ive heard from others that refilling Copics is an easy and rewarding process. There are a few things beginners like me should be wary of when using Copics, however. As with any other marker, there is always the possibility of smudging your lineart if youre like me and tend to ink a sketch before coloring it. This can also unfortunately apply to pencil eraser smudges; I have often had eraser smudges appear much more visibly on my coloring with them being near-impossible to remove. A great way to avoid this is photocopying a high-quality scan your lineart and instead coloring the scan to avoid the risk of messing up the original. If youre a beginner to using Copics, the skin tone pack is a great place to start your collection. If you tend to draw characters or portraits, skin tones will definitely be a necessity. This is where I started my Copic collection, and the high quality of the skin tone pack impressed me enough to add many more Copics to my collection since. In conclusion, if you have interest in finding a good marker, these are a great, albeit pricey choice. If youre on-the-fence about purchasing these markers, you might find it a better option to purchase one color individually to make sure you enjoy them before wasting your money on a product you dont enjoy. Many stores such as Micheals allow you to test the marker on a piece of scrap paper before buying it. If you do feel confident about buying these markers, however, I say go for it! Their high quality and long-lasting color is well worth the price.

Greater than one weekChristmas came early! Daughter who is an AMAZING hyper realistic drawing has been coveting these markets. Her friend guided me through purchasing. Since expensive I wanted to get the right ones. She said the grey scale & flesh tones are staples. When my daughter opened the box she screamed and jumped back! She’s 19 years old for Christmas isn’t too “magical” ha ha. She cautiously asked “are these mine? I said it’s early, but yeah, they are yours I won’t make you wait until Christmas... them she ran off to her room where she stayed in an artistic bubble for days!
