I purchased this Roomie Tec Vaccum Dec. 5th after 3-4 months from having my other cordless. I tell my husband this vacuum is to good to be true. I absolutely love it! Now, I am vertically challenged and just know I am a big klutz. I used to say two vacuums ago that it wanted me dead. I would trip over the cord every day. So yes, I have to vacuum daily and most days multiple times. I have a energetic 2 yrs old English Cream Golden Retriever puppy. Who sheds PROFUSELY! My fingers crossed that this cordless lasts longer. *Side note* I have a issue with static (No fault of the vacuum). When I go from carpet to hardwood a lot of dog hair clings to the hardwood around the edge of the carpet. No matter how many times I go over it, the vacuum will not pick it up. For some reason it only happens in the winter. Ive tried scotch guard and NO. Im thinking about stuffing a laundry sheet in it. All in all this vacuum is great! The battery has never died out before I was finished and its easy to clean. Replacement filters are easy to find and affordable. No, I am not getting anything for writing a great review. I just love this convenient vacuum. It makes my life easier.

For quick, easy cleanups. Easily moves over different floor types.

I bought this because my Eufys battery was starting to slowly die, and they have discontinued it. I like it, it does an OK job on the carpets, and better on the wood floors, but the thing that is a problem for me, is that because of the way the suction area is designed, in a curve, the cyclone filter, if you are vacuuming up something like leaves, they get caught and you have to clean them out right away, or it stops picking up anything else. I have a number of plants that have to come in during the winter, and they drop A LOT of leaves in the process of acclimating to being indoors, so this is a pain. I also have two small very hairy long haired dogs, and the same thing will happen with their fur. I think if they redesigned it to have a straight suction area, it would help a lot. The other thing that could be improved is the brush on the main head. My Eufy picks up so much more hair, human and dog, I have to clean the roller after every use. The Roomie does not seem to do as good a job. I do like the fact that the battery can be replaced, and I can vacuum for a good 30 minutes or more. It is very easy to take apart and clean. I think a redesign on the suction area could, quite possibly, make it as good as the Eufy.

I have had 3 similar units (Anker, Eufy, Dirt Devil) and one Oreck which was much more expensive. None of these last too long (IMO) and 2 years is when most start to have issues. This one is ahead of the pack because replacement parts are available direct at a reasonable price. That is a big plus. The big news is, the suction and brush roller are a vast improvement over other brands and the filter is made of reusable foam, not folded paper at rediculous prices. This picks up what others do not and the headlight is a great feature for seeing what is in the floor clearly. Only time will tell how it holds up but it seems to be much more substantial than similar models from the past by other brand names (awe know that brands are really a marketing gimmick since Chinese made products are all made my government owned facilities, not independent companies. The Anker and Eufy were IDENTICAL). They are really all the same brand with different labels and price points. It doesn’t matter in the end because they are competitively priced products that offer true value and are always being updated. This vacuum is a great deal at $87. I was considering getting the Shark or the Hoover Battery Uprights this time, when I saw this. I’m glad I purchased it. It’s a solid value. And for light pick up after a parrot, just perfect. For big jobs, get a plug in.

** UPDATE ** 7-5-21 Originally I had ranked this vacuum as 5 stars. Now it is down to 3. If you dont mind paying $99 for a vacuum that only lasts 2 years, then maybe this vacuum is for you. Personally I find that unacceptable; Ive had vacuums that lasted 20 years. Both the light and the brush roller on the Roomie Tec are nonfunctioning. Ive had the vacuum for 16 months and given it meticulous care, cleaning it out after every use, putting it carefully back together. I treated this vacuum with TLC because I loved it so much. But now it is virtually useless. The manufacturer said since its past the two-year warranty period my only option is to pay (yes, I would have to pay) to ship it 2000 miles away so they can take a look at it. No, thanks. I will give the customer service department credit for being responsive to my phone call and trying hard over email to diagnose the problem. But in the end Im left with a $99 contribution to the landfill, which is hugely disappointing. ** UPDATE ** 7-1-21 After a little 16 months of use, the brush roller is completely nonfunctioning and the light on the vacuum is starting to go bad. Sometimes the light doesnt go on at all. Other times it flickers on and off while I use the vacuum. I contacted the manufacturer a week ago but have not heard back from them yet. I have removed a star from my review. If the manufacturer rectifies the problem to my satisfaction, I will return the star. Contacting them again today. This vacuum is da bomb! Seriously. Goodbye bagged vacuum; you’ve been replaced. The Roomie is lightweight, easy to store, easy to maneuver, and most importantly - it cleans! This is my first cordless and my first bagless. Oh, how I love the ease of vacuuming without a cord. And bagless means all the gunk that gets sucked up goes immediately into the garbage where it belongs instead of being stored in a nasty, dirty bag for months on end. Assuming the Roomie stands the test of time, he’s a keeper! I’ll try to remember to update in a few months.

This vacuum is good for hardwood floors. Most of my floors are hardwood and that is why I bought this. The battery lasts long enough for me to get all the hardwood vacuumed. Does not do well on carpet. I have low carpets and floor rugs and it doesnt do well on those. Removable hand vacuum doesnt have great suction power. Was hoping it would work good for vacuuming out the car but it doesnt. But its light weight and easy to store. Recharges fast too.

Used for 3 months and than the spinning brush and lights stopped working. It swivels so it ends up cutting the wires so it stops working .

Ive had this vacuum for over a year and have been very happy with it for quick clean up. The battery life allows me to vacuum almost my 2400 square foot house. I do have to empty the canister several times as I have a dog and two cats that shed alot. I have all hardwood floors but a few floor rugs that you can switch to high volume, and it does well. The battery has to work harder when using the high volume, so it doesnt last as long but still does a good job. Charges fast. The customer service was great. The roller and suction part quit working (only on the stick part, the handheld worked fine) so I contacted support to see if that part could be replaced. The answered my call first time, took all my information and was told the problem would be sent to their service department. The next week, they returned my call and said they would be sending out a new unit. This was even a few months after their one-year warranty had expired. I received a whole new unit a week later. I am extremely impressed with their service and happy with the vacuum.

I have owned 2 previous brands of stick vacs well know brand. We read all the reviews and decided we would take a chance. I am not big on a lot of the info but we took a chance after reading all the reviews. This one works great. The suction even on the low setting is much better than I thought it could be. It has worked great and I love the way it picks up long hair without wrapping around the roller. Easy to clean and put back together. I am ordering a second one for my husband to put in his workshop. I would definitely recommend this stick vac.
