Greater than one weekThis program looks like what Acrobat should have been. BUT its version 1.0 at the moment and has some devastating bugs. If your PDFs are from a scanner and you have OCRd them, BEWARE!

> 3 dayI bought this thinking I could scan a document, then edit it. I either dont know how to do it or it cant be done. Tired of messing with it. Plus it also makes me select my printer, when before it always defaulted to it. Waste of $35.......

> 3 dayI was looking for an Acrobat replacement that did some of the work at a fraction of the cost. While not needing the advanced features that Adobe has, (which still seems basic by todays standard), I was looking for a tool that allowed me to extract, sort, rotate, etc in a WYSIWYG mode.

> 3 dayCorels PDF Fusion is well-marketed, and the Corel sales blitz gained my attention for its claim of edit PDF documents. Like many others, I had no interest in Adobes generally over-priced PDF products, and was more than willing to dabble with runners-up, so I bought Fusion with the idea I might be disappointed in some areas, if not others. That quickly turned out to be correct.

> 3 dayI suppose its no surprise that PDF software designed to compete with Adobe is a confusing mish-mash of poorly documented features, considering that is Adobes software development model. Adobes product vision is a hard to learn tangle of features trying to do workflow and document management besides just getting things in and out of pdf. What I need is software that doesnt have to be more than a good .pdf printer and good support for the scanner so that pdfs are compact in size with reasonably good quality. I dont need software frantically installing itself into every program I own. I need the ability to write editable text with simple font control into blank spaces on pdf documents, and it doesnt have to be any more complicated than what I might conceptually do with a typewriter. Usually, these products allow you to do this in comment fields.

> 3 dayPDF Fusion is an ok replacement for Adobe Acrobat. However you will find the UI to assemble a PDF document challenging. It can be done but not as easy as most people make it sound. You CANNOT create headers and footers for your assembled document. This is sad to not offer a standard document feature like headers and footers. Again an ok replacement for Adobe but some programmers need to try their product and see what they forgot to add. How Sad!
