As a Graphics Designer by trade, Ive been using Adobe Acrobat on a limited bases for the past fifteen years. I currently have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, which came with the CS5 Design Premium Suite.

Leads you to believe you can take a pdf or word file and convert it to an xls file. Had it for a week and cant do it. Noticed on Corel site that some versions do not have all features. I think I got ripped off if this function can not take place for what I bought. Hope I can get a refund then.

The product was not as expected from the advertisement. It did not appear to be a fully functioning pdf program.

I really love this product. It is clean looking, easy to understand and simple to use. For its low price, it does not have the functionality some of the higher tier PDF products out there.

I prefer Corels Word Perfect Suite to other paid or unpaid (e.b. Libre) office suites. And I prefer Paint Shop Pro to my brief exposure to Photoshop not that any are bad products. I had a paid copy of Acrobat 11 Pro on disk that I got from eBay or Amazon for something between $200 and $300. As with previous versions I registered it with Adobe -- I prefer the Adobe products and have long used its pdf products. After about a year of use, the Acrobat 11 Pro program asked me to register it. I called the help line. I got somebody in India (I guess). He seemed courteous and knowledgeable but tole me that the serial number wasnt correct. So about 8 months ago, I sent the disk to Adobe. I have yet to hear from Adobe. So I bought the Fusion. Perhaps because of me it didnt work that great which is probably my fault. But I recall that it could open a fair number of file formats. It just didnt feel right so I bought Pdf Xchange. So far it has done everything Adobe Acrobat 11 pro has ever done. In light of the disc version not working and in light of Adobe not responding -- not even returning the disc, I think that Ill stick with Pdf Xchange. Thats not to say that PDF Fusion is bum, perhaps its just that Pdf Xchange looks and operates more like Acrobat 11Pro.

If you want a format thats portable and presents documents with the same appearance across platforms, then PDF is the format to use. Since its introduction in 1993, Adobe has continued to enhance its Acrobat product to offer a tremendous suite of capabilities, allowing you to create PDFs and far more. But it comes at a price. Corels product is not meant to challenge Acrobat, but typical PC/Mac users would rarely if ever need most of Acrobats advanced features.

Product does not edit as advertised. Had to purchase Nitro Pro 11 to do what this product does not and advertises that it does.

I originally bought this mainly for converting pdfs to msword format. It does that, but not very well (though better than any freeware Ive tested). I have since found that it is quite good at creating combined documents from multiple pdfs and msword docs... So far, ~100 pages long. SO, yes to document creation. Look further for doc conversion.

I may have been confused about this software. Like many people that dont create pdfs but are shopping these items, I was looking for the ability to take an existing pdf document and fill in the blanks. Im decently adept at using software, but I was unable to find a way to add text as Id hoped. Free Text is the only thing that came close and I was unable to get it to display what I was typing. You can chalk it up to user error but I gather that editing text is not the same as filling in the blanks. I will try a bit longer and will post if I find something that changes my mind.

It was easy to install and I use it often. I have it set as my default PDF Reader. No problems.
