> 24 hourWordPerfect has always been my go to word processing program for my office. It is easy to learn, manage and use. It also works and plays well with others including Microsoft Word, Adobe etc.

> 24 hourI love WordPerfect, and had been using my old version (WP8) for quite a number of years, but found it just wont work with Windows 10. I was hesitant to upgrade, though, because I didnt want to waste a lot of time learning some new, bloated program with a bunch of features that I didnt need. Well, surprise! I made the conversion without missing a beat. It installed flawlessly in a few minutes. The menus, function keys, reveal codes, and all the great functionality of past versions are preserved, plus a smattering of additions and enhancements (e.g., the thesaurus is greatly improved) -- and everything works. I personally find WordPerfect much easier to use than Word, especially to correct problematic formatting (via reveal codes). Saving into Word format, if needed, in my testing worked almost perfectly (just save it from WP as a Word file, vs. opening the WP file in Word, which doesnt work as well). Also, you can actually open WP Office 2020 documents directly into WP8 (no Save As required) -- handy for me since I have an old color printer connected to an old PC. One difference between WP 2020 and Word: If you copy and paste from a web page, Word will attempt to capture links and images whereas WP pastes only the text, but the text is usually what I want anyway. The Suite comes with other programs that I dont use so I have nothing to contribute there -- except that I played with Aftershot 3 a bit and it seems to have a ton of great features, and Id think it would do everything most people would need for enhancing their photos. So if youre not already locked in to some other photo editing program, Aftershot 3 might be a real nice bonus! Or, if youre just about the word processing, Im totally delighted with WordPerfect 2020!

> 24 hourMaybe I’ve been using the competition for too long but I found this a bit difficult to get the hang of. Even though I set it up to be able to open all types of documents there are some that it claims it can’t open (old word docs). I find that very frustrating. I am okay with the spreadsheet, but even that isn’t as user friendly as the competition (even in the writing of formulas I have faced frustration). Perhaps it’s just a learning curve, but at this point I am feeling like I should have purchased what I was used to.

> 24 hourPersonally I would pick Word and Excel over this. The problem is that Word started requiring a monthly fee, which is really frustrating. This program does not charge monthly but has a one time purchase price. It also includes a PDF function, a spreadsheet function and it can handle PowerPoint slides. So it can save you a lot of money in the long run, but honestly each of those original programs is more extensive and easier to use than this. This program does the basics for word processing, and handles Word created documents. Word is easier to get used to than this, but if youre looking to save money, in the long run, this will work.

> 24 hourMy husband has an older computer without a good word processor or other office tools. The Corel Word Perfect was easy to download. There is a CD and a web site. The disc did not work but the website had easy steps for downloading. There are other office applications with this too such as a slide power point and a spreadsheet application. I found the WP application easy to use. It had all the fonts I would expect although I did not find Helvetica but Times New Roman was there, and that is the font he tends to use. You can easily add tables into documents. Formatting was easy too. The spelling was fine but not the grammar section. MS word is better. All the tools are user friendly. Footnotes and endnotes were simple to insert also. I would state that with the exception of the grammar tool this is a very good office suite.

> 24 hourThis suite cant be beat for word processing and formatting. Set up is quick and easy and it is straightforward to use. I am using it in my office where the emphasis is in document preparation and revision. This functions almost like a desktop publisher. However we do not do much group editing, an area where Word is better. Quatro pro, their spreadsheet program is on a par with Excel. Presentations works but it is not as impressive as Powerpoint. I tend to move between word, wordperfect and libre. For my purposes which emphasizes word processing, this program has the edge.

> 24 hourI would probably love the product but the printed label with the activation code has 1 digit on it that can NOT be read. Would love to find a way to get this corrected.

> 24 hourWhile many people I know have worked on and with MS Word for many years, I grew up using WordPerfect. My father was a government employee in the 90s and thats what they used on their first computers, and what we had on our very first home computer. So I learned WordPerfect as a teen and from that point on, I always purchased and used WordPerfect when I needed a word processing program. It just made sense to me and it was always easy for me to go back to and use. As the years went on there were times when I was required to use MS Word and using WordPerfect wasnt an option. I would tend to get frustrated because I never found MS Word as easy to use as WordPerfect and it seemed like MS Word was forever changing how they delivered their products (disk, subscription, online cloud). I missed the simplicity of the WordPerfect program Id always used. MS Word was always wanting to be integrated into the other software on the computer and had a lot of extra going on. But Ive always preferred the user friendly design of WordPerfect, and no subscriptions needed. I find it easy to navigate and it just works well for my needs. However if youre a student in college, be prepared to have most of your instructors require MS Word, especially now that they offer MS Word subscriptions free to college students.
