> 3 dayWaited to use before writing a review. Purchase these strainers in October of 2021. With daily use they have performed flawlessly. Screen catches everything (except water) that goes down the drain. Seal is good where it lays on the drain basket. Not a speck of rust on any part of the strainer. Definitely would buy again.

18-11-2024After clogging my kitchen sink for a second time, I realized I need to get a better strainer. This thing will fill up fast with food particles, but that is the point. Expect frequently dumping with this one, but know all that food isnt going down your drain. I live in an older house, and Im not about to create some blockage in my old pipes! This thing could save a whole lot of trouble and money. Ive had for a few weeks now and it is still very shiny and the material seems like itll hold up good.

> 3 dayI had ordered a packet of about 15 but they were out - so got this and had no idea what an improvement these steel strainers are. Easy to clean (the wire ones are a challenge) - I am happy with these and glad I ordered 2. I now have 4 and dont expect Ill need more. From now on, if I do need strainers, this will be my go-to.

> 3 dayI said most of it in the headline ! My one concern was taking it off and placing it well, they are easy to remove and put in place. How long will they last ? no idea as I have them for two weeks. But only using one at a time so I think they are good for at least a year. Say good buy to plastic ones that I get rid of every two months.

Greater than one weekVery sturdy and well built. The bottom is solid metal sheet with holes in it, so its not going anywhere. Easy to clean, just throw it in the dishwasher. After several months in the sink, I dont see a touch of rust, so hopefully this will be a be saving my drain for years to come.

> 3 dayGood strainers to keep food particles from going down sink drain. Need to be careful when removing to clean as a bit sharp around the edges.

> 3 daySturdier than wire mesh but doesnt drain as well. The cohesion of the water surface retains some amount from draining. I somewhat enlarged 4 center holes and while in the sink indented down that area with a rounded wooden dowel from the end of a broom. Drains completely now. I dont yet know if I had to drill or not. If just water is no big deal to you and otherwise kept clean, then add a star and you are good to go!
