I like these, they do keep the debris from the drain, but wish I had purchased some with handles, these are a bit difficult to get out to clean.

They are not cheap feeling; very sturdy.

I know that this strainer saves a lot of food, etc. from going down the drain. The only negative I find is that it’s sometimes hard to get wet food bits out. This is a minor annoyance.

Highly recommend this product. I gave my son one for his lake house and my mother bought two to give as a gift to my sisters.

I bought this because the thin wire mesh ones always had stray wires underneath that would poke out and cut my fingers when I was emptying it. You can imagine the disgusting bacteria on a sink strainer, so I bought this as a safer option. I love that it doesn’t cut my fingers and seems to clean up easier but it SO easily gets clogged. I will end up with a sink of dirty water and have to shift it to get the sink to drain before I can empty it.

The item is sturdy, unlike the mesh ones available out there. Catches everything and keeps your drains clean. Just love them.

I said most of it in the headline ! My one concern was taking it off and placing it well, they are easy to remove and put in place. How long will they last ? no idea as I have them for two weeks. But only using one at a time so I think they are good for at least a year. Say good buy to plastic ones that I get rid of every two months.

I had some other sink drainers for several years, but they were much flimsier and started showing a lot of wear and tear, they would bend out of shape. Ive had these several years now and they still look almost new.
