The Power Supply Unit itself is goo... really good in fact, but the cables provided are terrible. Imagine going to a BMW dealership and buying a brand new 2021 BMW M760, and when they give it to you it has 4 spare tires on it instead of BMWs stock rims, thats this PSU, great power supply, bad cables. Corsair has a premium individually sleeved PSU cables pro kit that they should sell with every power supply instead of these garbage stock cables. Now I have to buy the pro kit and delay my build another 2-3 days.

The heat shrink on the cables makes them a bit difficult to manage. I successfully trimmed the heat shrink in a few places, but almost went too far on the 24 pin cable, 2 splices are just out of sight so only trim a little at a time if you do the same. Otherwise no complaints.

The box and the documents inside the box were for RM650X, but the item itself was CX650M. The cable set was not the cable set described in the document for RM650X. The CX650M was also defective. The main ATX cable was damaged inside, and the unit turns on and off depending on how the cable is bent. It is a nightmare that PCs power is cut off for slightest disturbance to the PC case, and even worse that it keeps turning on and off.

I found that the PSU is well constructed. easy to install unite but the cable ends that are connected to main board power connection to thick. really hard to plug in. it is like the plug is to big

I am really impressed with the stability and performance of the Corsair RM850x. The 850 watts of power is more than enough to handle even the most demanding games and applications, and the modular design makes cable management a breeze.

Quality build and reliable. Easy installation and powers my 1080ti graphics card with ease
