I received my item in a timely manner, installation was fairly easy. Computer powered right on.

Great for what need it for.

I bought this PSU from another retailer the very end of Dec 2018. By mid Feb it was loosing power and causing the system to randomly reboot. I did my research on this build. There were no compatibility issues, and I am not a power user or hard core gamer. This is a faulty unit. It was outside of the other retailers window for a return. Which is fair. But Corsair is supposed to have a warranty policy in place. But when I went to Corsairs site the button to submit an RMA ticket was licked to a page where they basically said they were to busy responding to issues to take new tickets. Because of this experience it will be very hard for me to ever buy a Corsair product again. Very disappointed.

I bought this PSU because my old one was dying and shutting down my PC anytime I played a game that was even semi strenuous on my GPU. This PSU is very quiet, and I have had no issues with it. I had some issues installing it, but that was operator error not the PSUs fault. Because I am stupid and didnt know that a CPU cable and PCI-E cable were not interchangeable, I spent about two hours trouble shooting the installation, as the PCU would not start up. This is actually a great feature, because if it would have let me use the CPU cable for my GPU, it probably would have damaged it.

Pushing steady 770 -800 watts running 6 radeon video cards ETH mining, this power supply takes a 24/7 beating but keeps going. I wish the fan would spin faster. I dont really care for silent, I would like the unit to move more air and keep cool.

Corsair is always trusted when it comes to psu. Got this psu to power an rtx 3070 and i7 8700 combo. No problems no whining. Quality parts!

The power supply in this 12 year old machine was considerably overworked by all the add-ons that Ive made over the years and it eventually died. The Corsair is a lovely piece of equipment that installed easily and is a big improvement over the original equipment. It runs quietly and the fan only turns on when the machine is under load.

I want to make this quick so let me just clear some things very quick, my rig has never come near to using the full 850 watts, so I wouldn’t know how it performs under heavy work loads. Also, I live in Cali, so temps are around 75-85 here on average, so I don’t know how it performs in really hot environments. Now, that being out of the way, I wanted to say this is a great PSU. For one, I’ve owned it for about 4 years and haven’t had any noise complaints because it’s very quiet. This next part is VERY IMPORTANT to me and should be for you as well. About 5 months ago, my PSU began having problems and would randomly shut off, I contacted customer support and let them know, they replied fairly quickly and were nice.
