> 24 hourUnable to run at rated speeds. Have it running at 2933 with my ryzen 1600x. Not corsairs fault. They use samsung b-die. Hopefully a bios update will let me run this ram at the rated speeds. This ram is low profile and works well with noctua coolers.

> 24 hourSo its an awesome product, however instead of an 8 gb @ 2666, I got 16 gb at 2133. I was pleasently suprised to see instead of 16 gb I had 24 after the upgrade with a very minor difference in speed.

> 24 hourAs a gamer i will say if you have not upgraded from 2-8gb or ram, here is your chance. You get the bang for your buck with these easy to install ram sticks. I have instantly felt a difference since purchasing the ram sticks and installing them went from barely any fps with my games to everything running much smoother

> 24 hourEven though my motherboard (Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3) doesnt have this specific model on the QVL, it works right out of the box with XMP. I was concerned since Ive heard that 3000mhz RAM doesnt work the best or will scale down, but its running great. This set (2x8gb @ 3000mhz) replaced my old set (2x4gb @ 2666mhz). Nothing was wrong with the old set, just figured I would go up in speed a bit while upgrading in size.

> 24 hourNot much to ram, I look for names that I recognize and this was best value for amount. After installing set XMP on the Mobo and the ram read just under 3000 its advertised as reaching. If ever I upgraded to max out the amount I would definitely get this same set again.

> 24 hourThis DRAM is written as compatible for Asus X99 series motherboards on Corsairs DDR4 compatibility list, yet for Asuss list it is not on there. After installing 4 sticks (8GBx4), Windows does not recognize the additional 16GB. The weirdest part is that after restarting a few times, the OS finally detects the memory. Restarting again will make the additional 16GB disappear and sometimes it will even read it as two 4GB sticks! After trying everything, I am going to go ahead and go with Asus with this one and say 32GB is completely incompatible. 16GB seems to work fine, on the other hand.
