I use it daily outside so it gets dirty most days, so after a few weeks of cleaning the tape the white paint is beginning to fade. Probably not best for my situation but overall nice small tape and good price.

Excellent quality

I pursched two in June just for in the house. I have repaired them myself a couple times each the tape measure locking button is a joke. When you try to unlock and rewind tape it wont. Finally today threw them both away. Dont waste your time and money and avoid the the frustration. Someone should erase the name Ctaftsman off this product.

CRAFTSMAN Tape Measure, 25 ft, Retraction Control and Self-Lock, Rubber Grip (CMHT37225) is heavy - about 1 lb. Specifications said about 1 oz. It is too heavy for me, will return.

The very first time I pulled this tape measure out beyond 6 it would not retract! Ill consider this flaw a fluke and asked for a replacement. Ill see if the flaw repeats or consider that flawed treasure measure was out together first thing Monday morning...

This is a very handy item to have around the house. It has an effective lock feature, is accurate and is easy to read. I only wish it also clearly written numbers is metres and centimetres.
