What a handy light source this is! My work light is probably one of my most used tools. I haven’t yet come across a situation that I needed light and wasn’t able to use this. The adjustable head makes it really convenient in tight places. I once used my light for the better part of 8 hours on a 2AH battery and the battery was still showing full capacity at the end of the day.

The light did not come with a rechargeable battery or charger. There is one available on Amazon for $129.00. However I did find the same battery and charger on a popular auction on the internet.

Since I just got the Drill/Impact set and a couple larger batteries, I was hoping the light would be like the Dewalt Ive had for 10 years. The three LEDs spread light in a fuzzy kind of way. It would be OK for lighting a room when the power is out, but not for trying to see something at night at a distance. Frankly, my Olight under barrel light is significantly brighter and lasts nearly as long, and charges from a USB on my PC. Yes, it was 3 times the price. But one would think that a bigger light with a vastly larger battery would be much brighter. Craftsman, PLEASE revisit this flashlight.
