PEI has become my favorite surface to print on. I prefer the textured PEI as it seems to have a bit more adhesion and leaves a nice pattern on the bottom of the print. This Creality sheet has a ton of adhesion at first. In fact, maybe a little too much right away. You dont want to embed plastic into it, that print might be difficult to remove. Fortunately, you can flex the sheet which pretty much ensures that it will come off. (put it in the freezer for 10 minutes if you need to) I use isopropyl alcohol on mine when they are cold. (dont use it when it is hot, that is probably bad for it) After a few prints, the adhesion is a bit less, which is good in my opinion. I prefer the Biqu PEI sheets over the Creality because they seem to stay looking better longer and the first print doesnt stick as much as the Creality end. (it seems more durable) The Biqu completely lets the print go when it is cold. I embedded plastic in my Creality sheet and I was able to get all of it out with isopropyl. The downside of PEI (especially the Biqu) is that if you have resume on power loss or out of filament detection and the printers bed cools down on you, the print is likely to float around or completely come loose. (glass tends to keep it in place but prints are harder to remove) For now, Im sticking with PEI. This sheet is my go to sheet when I am having trouble with adhesion on the Biqu sheet. That little extra adhesion can make a difference on some prints.

This bed is something else. It worked fine with resin. It is fairly easy to use and my daughter loves it.

I am a 3D printing enthusiast. Im always looking for ways to make my 3D printing setup even better. Ive never used anything else except the magnetic build surface that came with my 3D printer, so I was interested in trying out this steel bed. This 3D printer bed comes with two parts. The steel printing surface and a magnetic sheet with an adhesive backing. This adhesive magnetic sheet is nearly identical to the one that comes with the Ender 3 Pro. And because I have an Ender 3 Pro, I didnt have to use the magnetic sheet. The steel printing surface stuck onto my existing magnetic bed just fine. The steel is a lot stiffer than the magnetic printing surface that comes with the Ender 3 Pro. The steel surface also has a courser texture than the stock magnetic surface. Both the stiffness and course surface made getting consistent prints easier. With the steel printing surface, I had to worry less about unevenness on the surface, and parts seemed to stick better. Removing parts from this surface is easy. A little bend pops the part right off. Im very pleased with this product. However, I wish the surface itself was just a touch bigger. The steel surface is almost exactly the size of the magnetic surface, this makes lining up the steel surface with the magnetic bed difficult. I kept wishing I had just a couple more millimeters all the way around. Given that I rarely print to the edge, I simply shifted the entire plate to the left just a little to catch the plastic primed from the nozzle. Overall, this is a solid upgrade from the stock magnetic build surface. Im glad I picked it up.

This is a nice bed and far superior to the stock Ender 3 bed. Everything sticks like glue and removes easily, with the exception of TPU. Ill have to try some white glue or hairspray with that next time but to PLA and PETG, prints stick well and pop off pretty easily.

I chose this textured PEI sheet to use with my Ender 3 V2. Ive previously tried several different types of build plates on my Ender 3V2 including glass, spring steel, and smooth PEI. Upon opening the box i was surprised to find that this was actually a Creality branded product. Inside the box it came with the build plate itself which is one side Textured PEI, on the other side steel. Additionally a 3m sheet that is one side adhesive and one side magnet for mounting the build plate. I already had a magnet on my printer so i just went ahead and placed the pei sheet on my existing one. I releveled my printer than started to print immediately. I did several small prints and each print stuck to the build plate. Some of them stuck a little too well and took a bit of effort to remove. I did 4 prints, no cleaning in between each print, except to remove left over pla, and overall had no issues with prints sticking. Of my experience with different build plates, i prefer a smooth pei sheet as my prints would stick to those but not to the point where it takes much effort to remove. I was also a bit disappointed that the other side wasn’t a smooth pei instead of steel.

This build surface is the bomb! The OEM glass bed which came with my ender 3 v2 was sort of a pain if youre like me and want to keep the printer chugging along starting another print as soon as the last one is done. The glass bed was awesome if you had time to wait, but if not, you could wreck your bed level by trying to get the print off the bed. This one just peels off the magnet and you flex it one way then the other and pop--off comes your print! Adherence is good because I feel like the texture makes it a little extra sticky. Plus its nice that you dont have to deal with those stodgy OEM metal clips that held the OEM glass bed down. I dont even wait for the print to cool in most cases. I just remove the textured steel plate from the magnetic sticker and flex it back and forth a couple times, then carefully place the plate back on the magnet and get ready to print the next thing. The magnetic sticker was easy to put on. I did it in two tries and was thrilled when Id gotten it a little wonky and was still able to carefully pull it back up to reposition it. The steel plate that goes on can be tricky. I align the left edge carefully while most of the plate is at an angle so it wont snap into position unintentionally, then when I have it pretty good, I slowly let more of the plate stick to the magnetic surface until its all down. If you ever get it wrong, just peel up and do it again. On a scale of frustrations you can have with a 3D filament printer, this thing is in the negatives. Only odd thing is this item is made by Putbuy with the Creality Ender logo on it. Not sure how that works, but its a good product.

simple Bed Upgrade to provide you with a textured surface to allow for better adhesion. Once you are done printing the surface lifts off and flexes to allow for easy part removal. One issue I had was that it didnt index back on very well, so it would be crooked. While this didnt effect printing, it did bother me

So far nothing has come loose and everything pops right off. so much better than using the glass.

The original Ender 3 came with a fiberglass (g10) build plate with a sticker with the textured surface. These worked OK, but since fiberglass is a thermal insulator I always felt it affected the heated bed. These build plates are made of steel, which conduct heat much better; making for a build surface that heats up quickly and is more equally distributed. I find these a noticeable improvement.
