I like the white color of this product but I should have looked closer. My friend has a Fiskars Slicer that is like this but black. His has a wire that sits above where the blade will go so you know exactly where it is going to cut. Do yourself a favor and get one that has that wire. If you need to make exact cuts it will be hard to do on this slicer.

Super easy to use but it broke after the first week

If it’s your first time using one of these and you get one half of the paper is bigger than the other, check that the size of the paper is correct. Mine was actually 8.7 x 11! So check that your measurements are correct and I think you will find this to be extremely useful and really handy for many projects :) I have not found any difficulties with it yet.

The cutter works fine, but drop the clear cover down a little too hard, let gravity slide the handle down too fast when you lift it or set it aside, or simply breathe on it or look at it wrong, and the handle pops off and goes flying across the floor, and often the blade in the other direction. I feel like I spent more time chasing those two little pieces down than crafting. I was so frustrated with this right after getting it, I was ready to buy a different one, but I had already thrown away the packaging so couldnt return it. Grrr. So I took a little piece of poster tack, rolled it up and stuffed it into the cavity of the handle, and its marginally better. Just dont stuff too much in there or itll ooze out the side and stick to the track and wont move. There really should have been a better design for this--something that had a tighter fit or clicked in place--I dont know. But for now, its a good thing I have a lot of poster tack.

This makes creating so much easier! I absolutely love this cutter for making straight cuts every time. Sharp blade and works well with all my vinyl and paper crafts.

Es bueno, para su precio. Me ayudado bastante, si el papel es muy grueso, no quedan bien los cortes pero yo solo la utilizo para papeles fotográficos delgados y algunos que son un poco más gruesos pero estan en la línea de delgados y algunas cartulinas. Y funciona y quedan bien.

Works great! I don’t understand how so many people didn’t realize there’s a lever you pull down on the right side that extends to let you measure. I’m apart of several crafting groups online and you wouldn’t believe how many are shocked to find that out. So if you didn’t know, now you do. LOL Definitely a staple in the crafting world.

Used it for a month and the blade is still good as new! Would recommend for people that need to size paper for their notebooks/binders/etc.
