The cutter works fine, but drop the clear cover down a little too hard, let gravity slide the handle down too fast when you lift it or set it aside, or simply breathe on it or look at it wrong, and the handle pops off and goes flying across the floor, and often the blade in the other direction. I feel like I spent more time chasing those two little pieces down than crafting. I was so frustrated with this right after getting it, I was ready to buy a different one, but I had already thrown away the packaging so couldnt return it. Grrr. So I took a little piece of poster tack, rolled it up and stuffed it into the cavity of the handle, and its marginally better. Just dont stuff too much in there or itll ooze out the side and stick to the track and wont move. There really should have been a better design for this--something that had a tighter fit or clicked in place--I dont know. But for now, its a good thing I have a lot of poster tack.

I love this tool to cut my vinyl. Gone are the days of crooked pieces of vinyl. This tool helps me save so much time and materials.

Perfect for what I need it- I just cut a large letter sized paper down into 4 pieces for thank you notes that I send with items purchased from my Etsy shop. It cuts well and clean. I did see people complaining about being being able to measure the correct size and I guess that could be an issue, but I generally just make a little fold so that I know where halfway is. It works for me. The most important thing to me was to have it cut a nice, clean cut so that it looks neat. I like it a lot and recommend it

Bought a Fiskars because of the name but returned it as it didnt cut cleanly on the first pass. This Cricut is great. I like the ruler/arm that swivels out for wider measurements and it makes clean cuts. Cheaper than Fiskars, too! Highly recommend.

This saves me material and time. I don’t know how I got along with out it.

So far so good well see how long it stays sharp but right now its a good cutter for vinyl
