put it in a cheap windows laptop I got for class. It varies on installation depending on your computer. My laptop was very difficult to install any upgrades but considering I never have taken apart my laptop before it wasnt too bad while following a youtube video. But I did have to pry off the bottom and peel off things to find hidden screws, basically had to take everything apart except for the screen. I believe I had one of the hardest laptops to put new RAM in but I was able to do it without any previous experience thankfully but I would recommend looking up a youtube video on how to do it for your current laptop before buying just to know what you are getting into.

My laptop had a hynix 8gb ddr4 2133mhz ram pre installed. At first i was really wooried as the frequencies of this ram the ram pre installed were different. But after reading reviews and doing a lot of reasearch i came to conclusion that i should buy it. My laptop downclocked it automatically and my system runs like a charm ...

Installed it on my Acer nitro 5. Now I have 16gb dual channel. Can finally run Chrome. Noticed ~10fps increase in games. Nothing to complain about.
