I have never returned a hard drive in my life...until now....Three of these all had issues with slow read and write speeds showing up randomly.... on a PC...on a Mac...in a portable drive encloseure...in a RAID....

My 11 year old saved up his pocket money to buy this to upgrade an aging 9 year old Asus n550jv laptop with a SATA 540rpm hard drive and what a difference it made .

As with all of the Crucial I have purchased over the years this drive is excellent.

I bought this item to upgrade the slow HDD in my Ps4 for an SSD... It totally worked and the system is slightly faster now (and I have more space for games). Until I get to win the lottery and have the cash for a Ps5, this is a good alternative. 5 stars.
