This is the second one I have by bought. Original one had been to upgrade an I5 Lenovo which came with a 128Gb SSD. To be fair this replacement wasnt as fast as the original stock item but it was still a worthy upgrade for the extra space. The recent upgrade had been in my partners lenovo AMD A9 v110 which came with a 1 TB 5400rpm blue WD stock Hdd. Boot start up was so slow it was unbelievable (approx 5 mins before we could do a thing on it) despite having less than 50 GB of space used. Opening programs was also painfully slow. Watched a you tube video on how to change the drive and put a new install of windows 10 version 2004 on it. This laptop is completly different now. Gets to the password screen in around 20 seconds. Havent transferred any large files so cannot clarify its performance in this regard. For less than £30.00 its has made a very noticeable difference. At the same time bought a 2.5 inch caddy and put the WD in this for and extra 1TB of External Portable storage. Win win situation. Separate note usable space on this SSD is actually 223gb rather than 240gb

Drive only lasted 2 months before it corrupted every file on it, and tried taking my other drives with it.
