My Lenovo laptop has a slot for an add-on 2.5-in HDD/SSD. This drive fit right in and adds a lot of extra storage. Transfer rates are typical for an SSD. Ease of installation depends on the architecture of the laptop. Some, you have to remove the motherboard to get at the slot, others, you just need to remove the bottom or the laptop, or there may even be just a hatch to open to get at it.

Easy to install can depend on the computer you are installing to. But the drive is easy to install and use in most cases, and I have never (as yet!) had one fail. I have been able to clone to this disk easily and then install this drive to replace the old drive with this one!

I ordered 2 SSDs of 1TB each, they arrived in time and in good condition. I used them to put them both inside my macbook pro mid 2012. They are working great. The product is very light and I havent had any trouble so far.

Ich habe diese SSD in ein ca 5 Jahre alten 17 Zoll Lenovo-Notebook verbaut. Zwar wird es bei der BX (im Gegensatz zur MX Serie) nicht groß beworben, aber die sehr gute Acronis Software zum Clonen der alten Festplatte lässt sich gratis von der Crucial-Homepage herunterladen und funktioniert sehr einfach und problemlos. Der ganze Installationsschritt (vom Einbau bis zum Clonen mit der Software) wird übrigens auf der Hersteller-Homepage ausgiebig (und auf Deutsch!) in schrittweise erfolgenden Tutorial-Animationen und Videos erläutert (auch auf Youtube zu finden). Dies sollte auch einem Laien ohne Schraubenzieher-Allergie ermöglichen, den Einbau und das Clonen einer evtl. vorhandenen System-Festplatte ohne Hindernisse zu bewältigen. Also eine vorbildliche Dokumentation!

This makes my old laptop fast. What a great upgrade.

Bought to use as my main storage with an HDD as secondary. As expected its improved start up time considerably. Data transfer speed is good. Anyone looking to improve start up time/shutdown would be happy with the product.

Comprato ad un ottimo prezzo fa il suo lavoro. Installato sul mio computer (un I5 3^ generazione, non proprio recente), il computer ora si avvia in circa di 30 secondi. In generale i tempi di accesso al disco sono decisamente migliorati.

Straightforward installation with purchase of adapter cradle. Significant improvements in speed and stability. Wish I had done this sooner
