Ive upgrade my Macbook Pro mid 2012 by swapping a spinning disk with the Crucial BX500 SSD disk and it boosted its performances 10 fold! Mounting the disk was pretty easy and straightforward and its been working great so far. I havent run any benchmark but Im pretty happy with it

I use laptop HD and SSD as hot-swappable storage with a dock connected to my PC. Its a lot easier than installing a bunch of additional storage. I connected this SSD and turned on the dock. The drive was immediately found and installed. Ive had no issues with storage loss or damage. Crucial is a really good brand in my experience. Id definitely recommend this.
