I got this to replace a cheap Patriot SSD that I had that died after a year :(. It was easy to use and appeared a little faster. All SSDs will make an HDD based PC run much quicker, so at this price its hard to go wrong... (maybe keep that old drive just in case though...)

I own three of these and will probably buy more. They may not be high end but they are very good for the money. Really, for the cost of a USB flash drive you can buy one of these and the performance will be good and so will the durability. I also own other Crucial products and more expensive Crucial SSDs. The company has great customer service. You can call them on the phone and talk to a real person. If your needs are to do the normal everyday things most people do on a computer than you wont go wrong with the BX500.
