My Dell Inspiron 530 desltop from 2008 started life with Windows Vista which got upgraded to Windows 7 and lately to Windows 10. But it was slow and has been relegated to just being a computer for web browsing in our den. I shrunk the partition down so it would fit on a small SSD. The utility Crucial let me download to copy my existing hard drive to the SSD worked flawlessly. and I only used it once. I got a mounting bracked for the SSD and swapped out the existing HD for the SSD, That old computer boots faster, loads easier, and runs faster. No more delays due to the spinning hard drive.

Tutta unaltra cosa rispetto ad un HD classico, molto ma molto più veloce, Windows si avvia in un attimo e non cè quasi tempo di attesa.

This was the first product i ever bought from Crucial. It was going to replace my brothers old hard drive for video games and such but when it was put into the system it never even picked up. We did check if all connections were done just like with the hard drive. Because this was a deal of a day in october and the return window was done on november, when the gift was opened in december it was already outside of the money back point. Needless to say i dont think ill buy from crucial again if this is the type of quality im going to get. I went out and got an intel 660p instead.

Does what it does... When connected to my computer (USB), it worked as expected.

Small ssd drives for my Truenas server. Works great.
