This install only took a couple minutes to clone everything and install. Extremely impressed!

I installed this SSD into an older SATA 2 computer and it worked well as a standard hard drive. I used the Crucial software to try to make it a boot drive but it would not boot up with a SATA 2 Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R motherboard.

This crucial Drive is smoking fast I kid you not my computer boots up in 6 seconds.

Easy to install and included cloning software worked flawlessly. The online installation guide made the process a piece of cake. Greatly improve the performance of a 10 year old machine. Extended the useful life of my machine.

Experiencing seamless performance to overall booting and multi tab operations on my 12 years old laptop after installing it. Installation and cloning is very easy. Used old HDD as a secondary internal device.

This hard drive and a RAM upgrade made my older laptop run like a new one.

Using Crucials web based tool, both drives are flagged with firmware errors. They cannot be updated with the tool. This appears to be a common problem based on Google searches. Crucial support is non exeistent on this issue based on reports. I would advise buying a different brand SSD.

This is an awesome drive. It makes my 4th Crucial SSD purchase. I replaced a Crucial BX 100 240 gig drive with this one. I actually noticed a decent improvement in boot up time and application load times. I didn’t think I would since I was replacing a Crucial ssd for another Crucial ssd. I put the old BX 100 in my daughter’s Dell I3 laptop and got rid of the old 100% hard drive load usage.
