I bought this as my first ever SSD. Was a bit of a nightmare to install and I broke part of it. It works still however and its nice and fast. Dont abuse this drive and be careful when attacking cables.

Replaced my 1 tb hd with the crucial 2 tb ssd. Lots of video etc to clone onto it from one one , took about 6 hours. Lightweight device and worked first time. used youtube for cloning the old drive to the new with no issues whatsoever. Definitely given the ageing machine a new lease of life for sub £200 ....bargain!

Preso per sostituire il disco meccanico di un notebook di circa 10 anni fa con disco meccanico. Dopo lo scambio windows parte il 35 secondi da PC spento :-D. Ottima la compatibilità con i modelli datati, da verificare sempre sul sito del produttore.

This drive takes minimum of two minutes to initialize after three years of use. SMART reports that bogus raw values are being returned in the firmware which makes this drive non-trustworthy. Managed to get all my data of it before I tried to update the firmware. The ISO for this process doesnt work and I do not use the preferred software Windows or iOS. Tried to do an RMA and this ONLY is written for the USA. After 40 years in the computer computer business my advice would be if youre not living in the USA (Im Canadian) DO NOT BUY CRUCIAL PRODUCTS!!!! The picture shows what the drive is really useful for if youre Canadian.....

Works like a champ. Slightly lower than 500gb available but I’ve been using it as my game storage drive and it’s worked without incident since instillation.

Ho comprato questa SSD per il mio HP 15-ay004nl, un i3 dallhar disk da 500GB (lho sostituito con questo ssd da 500GB). Avevo il gravissimo problema del disco fisso al 100% allavvio del pc, situazione che permaneva per ben 10 minuti e che mi rendeva il pc spesso inutilizzabile. Avevo provato di tutto, pensando che il problema fosse Windows 10 avevo anche formattato il pc installando poi Windows7, ma senza ottenere alcun miglioramento, tanto è vero che dopo pochi giorni ho reinstallato windows10. Prima di pensare al cambio dellhard disk ho anche aumentato di 4GB la ram, ottenendo soltanto un miglioramento marginale al problema. Quindi consiglio a tutti quelli che hanno il mio stesso problema di optare direttamente per questa soluzione, comprando questo SSD risolverete sicuramente il problema. Adesso il pc si accende dopo pochissimi secondi, è una scheggia! Altra nota di merito per questo prodotto è che collegandovi al sito del produttore troverete una chiarissima guida allinstallazione e potrete scaricare gratuitamente uno strumento software facilissimo da usare, che vi consentirà di clonare i dati dal vostro attuale hard disk al nuovo dispotivo in meno di unora. Zero perdita di dati e ottime prestazioni. Alla fine vi sarà fornito anche un altro software in grado di monitorare continuamente lssd e di scaricarvi versioni del software sempre più aggiornate. I tempi di consegna sono stati velocissimi, un giorno appena! Consigliato al 100%
