Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT500MX500SSD1(Z)

I have an old T61 connected to my TV. It was running Win7 with a regular HD. Thanks to the countless updates from Microsoft the system was so slow I could no longer use it without losing my cool. I have newer laptops as well but I like the T61 rugged design and built-in DVD player. Rather than ditching it I installed a 500GB SSD with Win10 and the system is back to life. It boots really fast for an old Core 2 Duo with 4GB memory.

Ho montato questo SSD sul portatile Acer che era diventato lentissimo. Il portatile adesso parte come se fosse un tablet. Consiglio a tutti di effettuare lupgrade.

Das Klonen der alten Festplatte auf SSD war ein Krampf. Die von Hersteller empfohlene Software war nicht mehr kostenlos verfügbar. Ich musste zwei weitere Tools ausprobieren, bis ein viertes es endlich tat was ich einen halben Tag kostete. Hätte ich es gewusst, würde ich 10€ mehr für eine Samsung SSD ausgeben und dafür die Klon Software vom Samsung nutzen.

Im a PC repair tech and I only use Crucial and Samsung as replacement drives after trying many of the lesser brands with less reliable controllers. Ive bought several Crucial MX500 and Samsung EVO 800 series drives. All good.

I cant comment too much on this product as it was bought for my grandson on his b/d. He is super happy on how fast his computer is now running.
