I am not an IT guy. Don’t know much about components. Bought this after seeing the reviews. Saw a lot of positive reviews from different people. I saw some YouTube videos and I installed it by myself in my laptop. Very easy to install. One of the best component I ever bought for my laptop. For home users, it’s the best. There are cheap ssd’s also available. But always go for the good one. May not be the best one for the hardcore gamers and pro users; not sure about that. But for me it works well.

I went from the circling rainbow of death on my 2010 Macbook Pro to actually being able to use it now. I added this SSD drive and upgraded the memory from 4 to 8 GB. This has brought new life back to my old faithful. A lot cheaper than buying a new computer for sure.

Purchased the drive in January 2019 for a laptop upgrade. Completed the installation and was initially happy with the performance improvement, however four months later the drive is not detected by the laptop and Im unable to access the OS or recover any files. I have attempted all the typical troubleshooting stuff, but this drive is kaput. Seriously not happy with what I feel is wasted money and time on my part.

I purchased a similar Crucial 500Gb SSD a couple of years ago to update my laptop. Its worked great ever since. So when I decided to build my first PC it was my go to choice for storage. The price is competitive and its simple to install..well I did it (twice) with no problems and Im no tech expert. Use this with an enclosure and you have a portable SSD for backup or data storage.

Disco tra i più economici sul mercato. Se siete alla ricerca del top in termini di prestazioni dovete orientarvi su altri prodotti con costi che variano di conseguenza. Lho utilizzato per svecchiare un vecchio PC (5 anni) andando a sostituire il disco rotativo con ununita SSD. Nessun problema di compatibilità. Funziona benissimo. Consigliato per lavori di questo tipo o per archiviazione esterna.

Made an amazing difference to my Lenovo Yoga 300. No lag now when updating windows. So impressed I am going to buy another for the wifes laptop.
