I could not recommend it more. It gave my Mac Pro a new lease of life. Boot time is lightning fast, read times nearly instantaneous. If you are buying it for a Mac keep in mind that it’s better to format SSD drives using the new APFS format.

Ho acquistato questo SSD per sostituire il disco di un portatile al fine di renderlo più veloce. Avviata la procedura di clonazione urilizzando lapp suggerita dal costruttore dellSSD si son verificati diversi errori di scrittura a causa di un difetto del disco. Richiesta la sostituzione lho ricevuta in 24 ore. Il nuovo dispositivo è perfettamente funzionante. Sono soddisfatto dellacquisto.

Easy to install. Runs cooler, quieter, quicker, and uses less electricity than the old mechanical drives. Price was ok. Pales in comparison to my Intel 730 SSD; about half the speed read and write. My Crucial 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive is twice as fast!

Ho scelto questo prodotto perché il sito Crucial era lunico che mi dava informazioni circa la compatibilità col mio notebook (é bastato inserire marca e modello e mi ha mostrato i prodotti compatibili). Questa informazione era molto importante per me perché il notebook ha qualche anno e non volevo correre rischi. Inizialmente avevo preso in considerazione un altro SSD (di un produttore leader) ma non essendo sicuro della compatibilità avevo scritto al loro servizio clienti che, lavandosi un po le mani, mi avevano risposto di rivolgermi al produttore del notebook. Il prodotto é arrivato puntualissimo, ben confezionato e con le istruzioni base molto chiare. Collegato esternamente é stato riconosciuto immediatamente. Nel sito ho potuto scaricare (gratuitamente) il software (Acronis) per clonare il mio HDD (ma ha anche altre funzionalità) ed un altro sofware per la gestione del disco. Ho eseguito senza problemi la copia dell HDD e poi ho provveduto a scambiarli. Al primo avvio non ho notato differenze col passato ma dallo spegnimento agli avvii successivi mi é sembrato di avere un nuovo notebook. Gli ho davvero ridato vita. Per aumentare lefficienza ho lanciato il loro programma di gestione disco (Crucial Storage Executive) ma mi sono bloccato subito perché mi é apparso un messaggio che ne sconsigliava lattivazione (perché non riscontrava la presenza di una batteria tampone).

I did it. I bit the bullet. I stumped up the dosh. Sick and tired of constantly fighting the battle for disk space, I decided to future proof myself a bit with a 2TB SSD. I always buy Crucial SSD. Not for the speed, which is very fast by the way, but for the reliability. This drive is super fast and has enough storage to last me until I shun this mortal coil and join the great storage in the sky. If you’re looking for a great, large capacity SSD, look no further. They’ve dropped in price too since I bought this so it’s even more a no brainier.
