Cruella [Blu-ray]

Yes Cruella is an origin story about the duplicitous trickstress Cruella DeVille and about lending (some) sympathy to the villain (thus taming or tamping down her villainy). No Cruella doesnt skin the black and white Dalmatian dogs. Yes it changes some important aspects of the animated villain such as not making her a dog butcherer. And, no, this movie really isnt for kids. Its a Tim Burton-ish dark dramedy intended for adult audiences.

You wont be bored a minute with this movie! Great plots twists, keeps you guessing throughout the movie. Really enjoyed it.

I never would have picked this movie to watch, but my friend suggested it. I was reluctant and ordered it anyway. I have to say that it was very enjoyable! Emma Stone never disappoints. I would recommend it.

Based on the book by Dodie Smith and Disney classic by Bill Peet, the winding road of events that change Estella was plotted out by Aline Brosch McKenna, and Kelly Marcel & Steve Zissis, and it was transformed into a script by Dana Fox and Tony McNamara. After watching the movie, that mustve been a journey in its own right.
