After years of drinking from tumblers, these glasses made our whisky/whiskey/bourbon tasting even better. You can really enjoy the liquor with more senses. Aromas, colors and flavors arent lost. If youre paying the price for better drinks, then why not get the most out of them with a proper glass?

Wonderful glass, more traditional to Scotch than American whiskey, but the design is time tested for tasting. I think all Whiskeys and Whiskey drinkers benefit from the concentrated sniff and slight sip approach allowed by the small mouth. As with wine, the aromas of the liquor is half the equation of any tasting experience and the smaller portions from small sips allow for a greater appreciation of the liquid contents. I find I drink less Whiskey per tasting session and am well satisfied. A bonus is the Whiskey collection lasts a lot longer.

Excellent whisky glasses, especially considering the price. There are a few imperfections like a micro bubble on one glass, that’s why I gave the four star review. Such an imperfection does not affect performance, though. I own specialized glassware for wine, cognac and now whisky and these Glencairn glasses do just as they were intended. The tulip shape focuses the aromas making the spirit easier to nose and appreciate and also helps control the pour for tasting purposes. I was familiar with the Glencairn glasses, and already owned two, but after buying a set of my own I had two friends over to taste some bourbon and Scotch and the one who is more like me when it comes to appreciating spirits commented for days on what a difference the Glencairn glasses made... and then he ended up getting some for himself.

If you enjoy tasting and appreciating the different notes of whiskey this is a must. Its affordable compared to other brands of glass. I did think that the shape of the glass was more of a marketing gimmick but after using it have discovered more depth to the whisky Ive been drinking.

Arrived in perfect condition without a single flaw. THE glass to have if you enjoy good scotch. It really does make a difference like other reviewers have said. This is a good deal on them compared to others. I recommend trying pouring 2 drams at a time when you first try a new scotch. one with a tad of water one neat and let them sit awhile before you sample them see if your new find works best with or without. with 6 glasses youll have plenty to do that with.

I gave these glasses a rare 5 stars and heres why- the arrived in the proper box with proper markings, all the glasses were blemish free , now im not going to sit here and say that they immediatly changed the the taste of my bourbon i did have a major change in mouth feel , but i was six drinks in and mixing with rums and tequilas which effected my tatse buds . I did get an instant change in nose ! And picked up some verry rich cherry, and choclate notes in my bourbon , my first time! And that alone was enough to boost it to 5 stars ! In closing believe the hype!!! at first i didnt !

Glencairns are the gold standard for whisky tasting. They are also exceptionally durable for how light and thin the glass is. A guest knocked one off the table on to a concrete patio, and the glass was good as new. Amazing!
